Make no mistake Florida, the FWC cares nothing about commercial fisherman. They cost the Florida economy thousands of jobs every year. When the CCA barks they jump. The net ban was based on lies and flawed information. All the Floridians saw was a dolphin on the beach with a gillnet wrapped around it on the front page of Florida Sportsman. I challenge anyone to try and gillnet a dolphin with the type of nets they use in Florida. They are made for catching small fish not a 200lb dolphin.All lies

forgottenfisherman u are absolutely right. these people to not care about conservation, the populations of fish, or anything else. their number one goal is to get rid of us. Nets that work= comm. fisherman still in business. IF their nets catch 98% bycatch then so be it. they know the smaller the mesh size the less marketable fish will be caught. THEIR PLAN IS WORKING !!!!!!
