  • 0:08 Whew, that was too close. The whole tower could've gone up with that little candle and that big bomb.

  • Don't ya love the way his little candle provides no light at all but he still carrys it around even when it was blown out :)

  • Grima came in the back door, didn't see the army chillin at the front.

  • So Grima Wormtounge just had no idea an army was right outside the front door?

  • Now compare this to the same scene from the 1978 animated version, and shudder along with me.

  • Everyone admit it. When you all first saw the army in the theater you shit yourselfs.....

  • I need to break something after this speech.

  • @philG36C u got that right.LONG LIVE SARUMANNNNNNNNN..........

  • i used to recite this when playing civ iv before declaring war.

  • so all the uruk-hai were hiding for Grima's birthday so he didnt see tens of thousands of them when he came to Isengard

  • Comment removed

  • Saruman terrorist !!!!

  • imagine if grima's curious ass got in to take a closer look

    AND THEN FUCKING BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

much of the series would be skipped over and there'd be no Orthanc

i mean yeah orthanc is solid unbreakable rock, but we're talking about gunpowder here, they've never had gunpowder

  • TO WAR!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Some many times i would wear towels and do this speech, ahhhh it so affected me.

  • There will be no dawn for men.

  • It would be funny if Grima blow themselves up!

  • tham theres soo many idiot awesome uruks

  • even if the wall is breach it will take beyond reconing thousand of idiot uruks to storms the king

  • sound s a bit like mr. H.

  • this looks like the kind of scene to do the trololol song

  • Sharkû's power lust is truly terrifying.

I love that Grima is given a moment of humanity at 1:13 as a tear traces down his face.

  • @quidproquo2004 Oh yeah that's a real nice catch, good point. To my understanding, while Grima is a human Saruman is still a different race, so I think deep down he knows he betrayed Rohan and feels compassion for them.

I remember the King of Rohan in the 3rd book telling him he was a man of Rohan, and how that really affected him

  • After almost a decade... its still gives me goose bumps!

  • 0:10 "You almost got us killed, you dumbass"

  • Poor Saruman, he had no idea he was being used as a puppet.

  • @goath88 thats wrong because gandalf wS one of the istair and he fought

  • Christopher Lee's portrayal of Saruman, was epic and i cannot think of any other actor who can continuously portray villains and nail it dead on each time. Long live classy british actors

  • @GagarinCCCP Indeed Christopher Lee is a badass actor, dosent matter he is Dracula , Count Doku or Saruman... hope he do the 100 and will act in some more movies

  • Epic !!!

  • 0:08 Scared saruman? haha

  • why didnt saruman fight?

  • @WhippedJay Cos he was one of the Istari, they are wizards and wise men, not fighters, even though he was the strongest during the speech

  • he's almost 90 years old now!

  • Seriously, this guy would make a splendid opera singer... :)

  • @smaoproducts He actually is classically trained. Look up some of his videos. There are a few of him singing floating around YouTube.

  • if only Grima's hand had slipped lol

  • ill translate this into "SLAYER" style - SHOW NO MERCY THIS NIGHT!!!

  • sigh, Islam is more sprouted from judisme then christianity, althought they see jesus also as a prophet and judisme does not.Judisme was a nomadic god now it is kinda an relic city religion, all cities had their own gods, these gods "protected" their city.Jawhe failed repeatably in this.Jerusalem= City of Salem,It's time we set aside such differences and unite as one world. As the world is the cradle of the mind, but we can't stay in a cradle forever(wtf is this concversation doing here anyway?)

  • lol this is a video about lotr but comments are about politica and religion what stupid you are

  • muslims have copied religion from christians . christianity was pratised before the arrival of islam and yet they both have adam and eve and soloman(suleiman in islam)

  • @jackallia no they did not copy the religion.please, find out the history of Islam first and then we can communicate.

  • muslims are the wild men of dunland (arabs) brainwashed by a prophet who taught them to forcibly convert the whole world to his barbaric andand cruel cult

  • @jackallia and christians are orcs - stinky, ugly and stupid

  • @BeatKidR your argument failed even orcs are more cunning and smarter than the wild men who kill anything for saruman ( taliban ) and why are u even here wasting your precious 12 hour namaz a day on a movie made by a christian and which is inspired by a novel written by a christian writer . If your imam will know about it he will cut your head for blasphemy for watching a movie made by an infidel.

  • to WAAAAAAAR!!!!!!!

  • "Even if it is breached, it will take a number beyond reckoning, thousands, to storm the keep!"

    "Tens of thousands,"

"But my Lord, there is no such force!"

"I find your lack of faith...disturbing, Grima!"

  • bello, l'unica cosa è che è in inglese

  • Heil Saruman

  • 0:31 what are the uruks shouting down there ?

  • @Oesterreich1156

Probably "TENS OF THOUSANDS", several times...

  • @Oesterreich1156 idk,maybe

    Uruk hai's? XDD

  • This was not the role he wanted to play but nevertheless he did a great job!

  • the look on grima's face is so awesome when he see's the uruk army

  • Why Grima didnt see the army when he rode to Isengard???

  • @Vampirewolfking because they all hid cuz it was grima's birthday.

  • @BeatKidR Lol

  • Grima: But my lord there is no such force... 0___0

  • Without a slightest doubt, Christopher Lee at his BEST !!!

    Wow, just wow.

His voice could even SHATTER The Mountains !!!

By the way, although the impressive HD

(This vid has the highest quality in all the saruman war speech videos)

The sound is Really Low... Too Low. Even with The Max volume... :/

  • Christopher Lee at his second-finest.

  • WTF does jesus even have to do with LOTR? Obviously NOTHING considering the fact that he didn't save the human race in the movie. STFU. LOTR ALL THE WAY!!!!

  • press 1 to watch Grima try to blow up Orthanac.

  • sweet jesus!! Christopher lee has the coolest voice on he planet, and can stop the chanting of an army with the smallest motion of his hand!!

  • that tear is epic

  • Grima: "But my lord there is no such force"

    ... *horn sounds* ...

    Saruman: "bitch, please..."

  • @DCdabest Grima: but my lord there is no such force

Saruman: which door did you come in to have not seen these guys?

  • @freewillgeorge

Grima: They were in my blind spot....and my deaf spot.....

  • Grima had a boner at0:38

  • What a voice!

  • Duku goes medievil !!!

  • they were made to represent some ww2 figures i think sauron was hitler and sauruman was hirohito

  • @TheDrYes No, tolken was an ultra-nationalist, so i think that the forces of evil beared a slight refference to the soviet union.

  • @Isleifur90 no tolkien said many times he hates refrencing to current or recent events and comparing them to his novel, he clearly said that in a more educated phrase lol, but seriously, his villians do not represent nazis or soviet unions, they are his own idea of evil and the antagonists in his novel

  • @KingVerdo Technically, the books were made in the 1950's.

  • @ttmaster1000 Ya haha I realized my comment was wrong when I watched the Fellowship's extras on the extended edition last night haha.

  • Saruman's voice is always so great!!

  • i miss count dooku

  • The german version sounds heroic :D

  • I read somewhere that Sauron was supposed to represent Hitler and Saruman was supposed to represent Hirohito. So maybe this was supposed to be Hirohito commanding his troops to attack either China or the United States.

  • @emjcohen If Hitler was to represent someone in LOTR it would be Saruman; he was extremely smart and charasmatic. Sauron would represent Stalin.

  • @Olamtir Not counting trying to betray his ally and failing.

  • march to middle east leave non alive thats how it must be

  • Comment removed

  • Or, perhaps, Bush!

A new power is rising (America). It's victory is at hand! This night (March 19, 2003), the land will be stained with the blood of Hussein! March to Baghdad! Leave NO GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS alive! TO WAAAR!!! There will be no dawn for terrorists...

(lol, jk! Bush is fine... just not the best)

  • Here's Hitler's version:

A new power is rising (Germany). It's victory is at hand! This night (Sept. 1, 1939), the land will be stained with the blood of Poland! March to Danzig! Leave NONE alive! TO WAAAR!!! There will be no dawn for Poles...

  • fuck all u religious extremists

  • To war!!! XD

  • @24

  • 24

  • 0:35 Orcs says:burn to ashes ?

  • @sk8devill sounds so.

  • 0.13- a tear from Wormtounge! ive sen this movie loads of times and ive never noticed it till now

  • anyone notice how wormtoung is crying at the end (not full on balling ya idiots)?

  • Anyone else catch Grima's tear at 1:12? I think that's so sad that he's crying, because he knows that HE made this possible by passing information to Saruman, and his homeland will be destroyed because of that. Poor Grima, he's my third favourite character.

  • @pokexplosion21 I thought that tear was shed because he was overwhelmed by the massive Uruk-Hai army instead. He should've known that assisting Saruman in any way would lead to an eventual destruction of his homeland.

  • @pokexplosion21 Grima is not the smartest cookie and the jar and was over his head when he made the fatal decision to assist the murderous Saruman.

Now, at last, he realizes the mistake he made. Too late, the beast has released all her fury against Grima's people and they will be slaughtered like farm animals.

  • What are Uruk-Hai saying? It sounds something like "Uruk ashu"???

  • @Sorvos I always thought it was Uruk Crush you

  • @Sorvos sounds like Lord and Master !!! So they are hailing Saruman

  • this scene always gives me goosebumps, i remember seeing it for the first time in the theater and my breath was stolen away!

  • The Uruk-Hai look terrific.

  • Wow you guys are the biggest group of idiots i've seen. This is from a MOVIE! A FANTASY STORY for ENJOYMENT! Take your political crap and your pathetic arguments somewhere else!!

  • @Phillo127 yeah thats right.

at every fuckin youtube video there are this stupid discussions about nazis, black people and all that stuff.

    thats so annoying.

just post if you like the video or not - done.

  • @sh4rpeXtreme Seriously

  • @Phillo127 But many movies, and especially this one, have some ideas that want to pass over to the audience. LOTR has an idea of fight and revolt against the powerful monarch, who oppresses the weak and seeks only for insurmountable power. It would be wrong not to mention this.

Though, i agree with you in a way, 'cause everybody tries to make racial or other discriminations instead of giving the point of the movie. This is what really messes it up.

So just enjoy it ppl !

  • WHITE POWER!

  • the "DUN DU DAAAAAAAAAH DUN DUN DUN" music is never more powerful, than in this scene.

    EPIC!

  • Muslims are the brainwashed plague of this world. They have to be wiped out. For all our sakes. See? Hahaha...

  • @phuckizlam

That kind of blind hatred is what LotR was advocating AGAINST

  • @MegaloSaro To d estroy all of islam would be one of the greatest acts of love towards humanity in the history of the world.

  • @phuckizlam as an atheist i can say that both christians and muslims both need to stfu! just stop preaching and do something that mathers with you life, like watching lotr.

  • @gooddarkjedi As a pantheist I say the same, probably reading lotr could work better though.

  • @DDevospartan i agree. the books are awsome.

  • @phuckizlam No, We need a speech like that today against the fascists like you.

  • @phuckizlam do you hate him or his belives. bechose its more ok to hate system of belives then person.

  • @gooddarkjedi islam, the cult of death, needs to die. Leave none alive. That's what those moslem cunts have in store for us, be us atheists or not.

  • @phuckizlam What about the Chick brand of Cristians? They are even for your criteria just as bad as muslim yet they have power in the most powerful country of the world... umm ummm not so good. it is not about one religion or one kind it is about ignorant people all around we do not kill them we survive them and try to make the new generations wiser.

  • @phuckizlam i dont think that extremist whuld be like that if they whuld not have been brain washed. i have met moderate muslims that eat pork and dont wear a vail, in here europe. so i say, muslims need to shape up like other people. i dont see moderate christians killing people just bechsoe they disagree even thou their bible comands such thing. muslim extremist are sheep like so many of usa fundies. we cant just kill them, we whuld bechome just as bad. they are human just like we are.

  • @gooddarkjedi oh shut up! eating pork makes u not a moderate...ITS FORBIDDEN IN ISLAM FOR A REASON,the same animal that consumes feces and trash,u should read of diseases caused by it. scientists now learned the effects of alcohol, disabling ability to think right making u do stupid acts...thats why its forbidden!! theyre not moderate, theyre just non practicing!

  • @gooddarkjedi amen brother. beliefs are just a thin shroud that cowards and facist pigs hide behind to justify their actions. extremists of any religion are not welcome in my world. especially christian extremists. i am christian and it makes me ashamed sometimes that so many of our brothers and sisters in the faith forget one of my favorite lines from the bible. "judge not, lest ye be judged." and along those same lines' "let he without sin, cast the first stone"

  • @Mayvar90 i agree.

  • @phuckizlam lol idiot

  • @IZn0g0uDatAll Choose one of your three cunts, then shove yourself up it. Fuck islam to death. moslems are all bastards.

  • Saruman forgot to give the bomb that he made to his army before they left, lol.

  • @LastXdeth i think that's only for showcase, in case they do win the battle at Helm's Deep.

  • I absolutely LOVE the war-horn call at 0:29. Epic.

  • Who's saying they're limited to one weapon? They have the pikes to fend of Rohans cavalry in case they come out in the open. And they might carry a sword and pass the pike on when they climb the wall.

  • i always wondered why are there more PIKEMAN than SWORDS?

  • @omgitztrippy I wonder what those pikes should have done against the walls of Helms Deep, pikemen are normally used against horses and they only came later into battle. And when Gandalf and Eomer showed up with more Rohirrim, the pikemen where blinded by the light of the sun and couldn't hold their ground. Quit fail actually...

In the LOTR movies, pikemen are not that effective, considering the charge of the Rohirrim at the orcs on the Pelennor Fields.

  • @Thierry889 Agreed it would be effective if used effectively plus theyre fighting a wall thats the point of having a pike might as well use spears swords hammers or club like it easier to carry up a ladder i might a few pikes woulda been fine but i guess the army consisted probably 80-90% pikemans 2% crossbow & 8% swords

  • @Thierry889 Sauron's orcs are not given the long pikes of Isengard. They don't stand a chance even if they do stand on their ground.

  • @omgitztrippy They are going to attack Rohan. Rohan's army is consisted, mostly, of cavalry. The fact that they know that some of Rohan troops are stationed in Helm's Deep doesn't change a thing. Grima knew that Eomer, once banished, left with a great host of chivalry. So, they could expect to be attacked along the road at any time. Or so I think...

  • okm aye -yo i hate to admit it,but thats what it means to be part of tha brotherhood,to warrrrrr....okm,i luv it man,if tha powers that be ever get a hold to a brotha that what going to happin.....,imo7ut..

  • a new power is rising... awesome scene :)

  • saruman, greatest villain of the 2000s

  • leave 'non'e' alive -)

  • i agree

  • its too low(the sound)
