I agree that Yama's voice sounds different at first, but go listen to some of their stuff and you'll soon find it amazing... I heard some racist stuff that is not welcome for me. And the point to a cover is to give it your touch, not make it better, so no point in comparing and bashing the other's group work! They're both kickass!

I love Stratovarius, and I like Galneryus.

But I gotta say Galneryus killed all the magic in Black Diamond by doing this cover. It doesn't feel right, it hasn't got the feeling and atmophere Stratovarius ALWAYS succeeds with.

Galneryus cover of this song feels more like a competition about "who is the fastest guitar player". A good musician puts more emphasys on the feeling in a song, not how fast they can play it...

Sorry Galneryus, I like your own songs, but this one you screwed up =P

It's not the same since the lead guitar is Kupiainen and bass is Porra, I'm big fan of Strato, but anyway I still don't like "Polaris" at all.... Same with Galneryus, it was great with Yama-B (voice) and Yu-Toh (bass), but it's not the same now with Sho (voice) and Taka (bass)...
