@Blufire48 I think that must have been a response to a removed comment as it doesn't seem to relate to anything written here, it was almost a year ago and I can't remember what it was about. I think it was something someone wrote about how enlightened people behave and this behaviour was lacking from David...some such silliness
I have thought alot over the years about this 'who has it who hasn't' but in the end it seems to me the need to separate the 'fully' enlightened from the 'not fully' enlightened is not so important. The status we give to Gurus, great or small, is just a projection of our own belief in status. An open heart loves, and that love 'changes not when it changes find'. Ramana often reminded people, not to mistake the body for the self. That includes all bodies, even the body called David Spero.
Please note that David offers a free, live, internet web-cast each week. All are warmly invited to enjoy this global event. You will need to have a high-speed internet connection to participate and also register -- at no cost -- at the "friends" site noted above. Namaste.
David thank you. Everything you are saying is resonating with me and is corroberrating much of my experience. I appreciate your taking the time and effort for the vids!!!
So true. The initial post-awakening inebriation has lessened but the peace is everlasting and when I place my attention where it needs to be I can relive that place to a degree. That inebriation is just that: another experience which, of course, fades. What's left is the witness which is more and more unmoved over time. The peace/ bliss state just turns deeper and broader rather than the sharp peak experienced initially. Thank you, David! (again)
I see. Thanks for being so kind to respond.
