I agree that they are the "useful idiots" that define the terms of the public debate but isn't there a deeper analysis that looks at the economic causes ie the ruling classes' desire for cheap labor and a working class divided along racial lines?

I'm struggling to understand the purpose of this video... Can someone enlighten me? What are the underlying reasons for the enormous disparity between aboriginals and 'other' Australians as highlighted in this video? Are you suggesting that the reasons are genetic or evolutionary?

No where in this video are genetic or evolutionary reasons suggested or implied in any way, shape or form, what would make you think this?
Social darwinism (the genetic/evolutionary reasons you speak of) are scientifically groundless, thoroughly disproven in their entirety, and indeed have not been taken seriously since as early as the mid 1900s

When I was seven years old, I remember somebody calling me a racist at school for no reason. I went home and asked my mum what racism was. She confirmed I definitely WASN'T racist. When she had finished, I remember asking her what was the point of racism. She didn't have an answer. I'd love to see indigenous poverty end in my lifetime. But I do hate those programs that don't work and just cost us money.

I visited Cunnamulla in Nov 2009, Met a local councillor who told me of an employment and training centre set up in the disused abandoned Tatersals Hotel.
A good idea, The money was provided by a series of Government grants unfortunately most of the money was squandered by those running the program not white people but those claiming to be acting in the interests of their people.
Within 12 months the money was all gone as it was wasted and did not help those it was sintended for.

@patacattoday I finally realised what the Generation 1 ad is telling me. As an Anglo-Euro ( Aryan ) male,if I want my children to finish high school,get a degree,own their own home,have a real job and live past 65 I should restrict my dating to fellow civilised white people so my children have the best possible start.
Statistically speaking it would actually be cruel to my children if I married an aboriginal as it would decrease their life span.White people,STAY WITH US Let's not mix the races.

But I thought every one was equal.This seems to suggest Aboriginals can't do things by themselves,and shouldn't this be "Generation 3" as Aboriginals gained full citizenship back in 1967 (43 years ago) Maybe white people just make better choices,not drinking,study hard etc.

Equality only comes with equity, which means everyone has an equal playing field. People don't. So don't be so naive to suggest that everyone is equal.

@zombiekiller117 Also, many of the statistic, such as the mortality rate in Aboriginal men isn't because of lifestyle but because of genetics, but because of genetic health problems that are the result of post colonialism. I disgust you by speaking against job positions being restricted to applicants of certain racial background ? I spent years in the territory what I saw as a business owner was many indigenous people would not help themselves.
Send your kids to school, stay off the grog, if theres no jobs in the remote community where you live start a busines that employs others or move to where you can find work.
You cant keep blaming others you need to take responsibility I'd gladly employ an indigenous person but how could I when applicants just dont cut it against other applicants.

@patacattoday No I'm not I'm a good person youre the one who is being unfair to me with negative undeserved comments, I always abided by the law when hiring new employees everybody had the same opportunity to excell many didn't use it.
Past employers experiences are a good indication of a persons work attitude or lack of, You turn up you do the job the way I tell you because you work for me, take pride in the job, dont bring your problems to work When you get let down it makes it difficult

@zombiekiller117 All employers must abide by the equal opportunity act and cannot discriminate on the basis of gender, race, religion,sexual orientation, disability,or any other legitimate reason.
If you believe you were discriminated against make a complaint to the equal opportunity commision you have a right to have a copy of your record of interview if you ask for it, employers should be doing reference checks as part of their interview process probably another reason you were unsuccessful.
