  • you should go to American got talent man that Arabian guitar rocks..

  • Man that was killer as hell. You were really get in to that.Great job brother sweeper5

  • Gaga's talent trumps yours. I can see why you're upset.

  • @ShowMehUrTeeth Why thank you. I'm not upset, however...not in the least. Now you have a good day, you hear? :-)

  • I love your strings! lol, They look really new and make me wanna pick up my guitar, and i like things that do that ;)

  • nice

    fantastic song

  • excellent i love the exotic scales!sounded good bro!

  • @michaelpeacestewart Thanks a lot Michael. As you know I checked out your vids and work too...you're damn good yourself. If you're ever up for some "internet collaborative recording", let me know. We can compare DAW platforms and shoot files back and forth until we get something cool. If it sounds like fun, let me know.

  • Very nice playing! Your good dude... Did you create the backing track?

  • @Scrappalino Thanks a lot! Yes indeed, I wrote, played, recorded, and mixed the whole thing. I did that one a while back...I need to do some other vids. This is the only one of my songs I ever made a vid for. I'd like to do more...just never time. LOL!

  • @Sweeper5 It's great... Enjoyed watching you play... Melody is where it's at!

  • great stuff it makes your day when you accidentally find something like this on youtube

personally i think that eastern music isn't explored or appreciated enough but this will change thanks to people like you Sweeper5

  • @Smartboxx2 Oh man, thanks so much for this compliment. I really appreciate what you said, and I do hope that eastern music is utilized more in a contemporary forum. The neo-classical players hit on it in some of their scales and solos, but I think that a lot of it is untapped. It's beautiful music, and it definitely has it's own unique flavor. For me, there is a lot that can be done with these beautiful and unique musical styles. Thanks again for the words!

  • I....I....think....im in love <3_<3

  • You stink,Just kidin u rock dude! :)

  • @gothangel961 Thanks a bunch! heh heh. Although the "you stink" part is probably more accurate. LOL! Thanks for giving it a listen though. Appreciate it!

  • you sound great! can you give some insight as to what scales you are using?

  • @iloveibanez92 Awww, thanks man! Most of this is the harmonic minor scale. That scale sounds very middle-eastern/Egyptian/Arabian. I threw in some straight minor stuff when it went into the "rock part", and some semi-chromatic type stuff for some of the fast runs. I'm not much on technical knowlege...I'm mostly an ear player, so I'm probably not much help in that dept. But I do appreciate the comments big time!

  • you sound great! can you give some insight as to what scales in particular you are using?

  • The most beautiful sound in the world.

  • @BBQFanNo1 What a nice comment. I'm glad you liked it enough to type a comment like this. I appreciate that!

  • @Sweeper5 this is KILLER you got an mp3 of this I would load this to my iPod its worthy!!!

  • @HereMikeWas Aw, thanks Mike. Yes, I have an mp3 of it somewhere along with all my other junk. LOL! I used my synth to do the sitar parts. It sounds ok once it's spun into the mix I guess. I'm flattered that you dug it. I'd love to hear it with those P-90's you have!

  • Nice! I've aways liked the Eastern modes. Sounds very Blackmore-esque although you have your own style. Nice tone too.

  • That is freeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaking AWESOME. I loved it too much. you gotta post more videos brother..... you are obviously talented.

  • @sakran22 Thanks bro! I DO need to make some more videos, because they are lots of fun. Man, thanks again for the words...really means a lot!

  • nice playing uncle!!!

  • you fukin rock arabic style!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • awesome video man..you play great.

  • @SuperPlowman1 Thanks so much! I appreciate those comments. I really need to put up some more vids. I have lots of music I've done, but this is the only one I did with a video. Seriously, thanks. I know that I'm not all that great, but I sure have a good time playing guitar!

  • Wicked! all it needs now is a vocalist doing a Brutal in the bg ROooooooooooooooaar Rock on ):D

  • W I C K E D G O O D * * * * *

  • Very nice!!!!!!!!!! ;D

  • @MrTekneon Thank you very very much sir! I'm glad you liked it!

  • Excellent composition, Fantastic performance...5/5* ^^...BTW is that a POD I see on the left side of the screen? If so, can you please explain to me how you used the POD to record the audio and calibrate the audio with a high qualit video? I one day would also like to record over a POD pocket to my laptop, but I was confused as to how the video component would match up with my audio recording.

  • Thanks for those words, GoBlue. Yes, that is my old POD you see. I'm using a newer version of it now, but works the same recording-wise. To get decent audio on the vid, I recorded the audio on my PC, and didn't use the audio from the camera mic. I'll be happy to help you in your audio recording in any way I can.

  • Thanks man. And yes exactly, the only way to get this quality of audio is by recording it straight to the computer. But that's the thing, because now you separate the audio from the video. But the recalibration of both is what I have yet to figure out.

  • wao! Really cool!

  • Some nice phrases. What I do miss is a catchy main theme and a bit more repetition...:) Anyway, keep on rocking!

  • Wow bro you can throw down. I dig it big time! I hope I can translate the latin metal as well as your mid-east rock. Inspirational!!

  • Thank you 3score10...can you imagine how I would enjoy playing through your WEST amp! :-) I appreciate your comments!

  • Thank you rpvee! I'm pretty much a rock guitar player, but I so love the Arabian sounds(And food! Chicken Shawarma forever!)!!! :-) Anyway, I fired up the sitar on my synth, composed some harmonic melodies on my guitar, and went for it. thanks so much for listening and commenting!

  • Very cool! Could've used a bit more Arabian influences in more places, or have the guitar play more Arabian melodies, but this is pretty awesome. I love fusion music between the Middle Eastern and modern music.

  • AWesome!!!

    Grandma mary

  • Wow. Epic win. I wish I could get an MP3 of this song somewhere and put it on my iPod.

  • Thanks ordergly...I'd be glad to email ya an mp3 of this. Super appreciate the comments and appreciate you giving it a listen.

  • I wrote this song, any tabs available would be done by me I reckon.

  • and when are you going to do the tabs of the music and put it on the web

  • pleas write tab pleas! :)

    beautiful! :)

  • Hi,

    Congratulations, you're very nice player

    you playing on witch scale?

    William

  • Thanks a lot for those words, 191675. As for your question about the scale, I think what is catching your ear is the Harmonic Minor passages. That's what gives it that Arabian flavor. I used that, some basic pentatonic licks when it went into the rock theme, and some chromatics. The sweeps toward the end were regular minor/major stuff...little 3-string sweeps, and then back to the Harmonic Minor to bring back the Arabian sound. I'm glad you liked it!

  • your awesome!!! make more vids!

  • I'm glad you liked it, eagleboyz20. I went for a fusion of Arabian flavor and straight-ahead rock. Just looking for something a bit unique, ya know. Thanks a lot though, I really appreciate your comments.

  • no problem!

  • Thanks very much, MrFender. I appreciate your noticing that powerchord ending! Thanks for the rating too man!

  • Cool song man!!! Awesome the final riff on the bass chords, keep on rocki'n. 5 stars

  • most Xlint Sir :-þ

  • good job.

  • Cool. May I suggest a little whammy bar action on your next tune.

  • Yes, I probably could go a little wild with a whammy in this environment. Thanks for the tip.

  • Awesome Arabic music, and with a guitar to boot! Nice! It's great when you really get into what you're playing. Like the guitar is your best pal. A really great job here! Hope to hear more soon!

  • thanks so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to listen and write this comment!

  • Ah darn. The audio/video sync is a tad off. What causes that?

  • I think it´s got to do with what program you used for producing the vid, youtube is better compatible with certain programs, though all vids have a little delay in sync. Really great job on this though, Favourited and 5 stars. :)

  • Thanks so much, delpieric. I really appreciate those words man.

  • if i had seen your video i wouldn't have been so hard on you, in fact, i am officially turned off ;). surely you could pick up on that little pun! music is a reflection of the man- you really make d minor the saddest of the keys hahaha, try some altered dominants, at least then your mindless riffing would sound intriguing

  • Yeah, I got that pun, yoyo. Still waiting to see YOUR video, sir. Or is it ma'am? I don't know for sure...your pun confused me about your gender/orientation I guess. Did I mention fukkew? Just wondering. Write me back when I can see a vid of your virtuosity please...until then...fukkew

  • I remember you now. You like Diamanda Galas's vocals. hahaha! I'm glad you don't like my stuff man. It's a supreme compliment when someone with YOUR tastes (and monumental arrogance) dislikes my music. Oh, did I mention fukew? Go on to your "sophisticated" jazz trio shit, and Galas's ghastly "vocals", and leave me the fuck alone will ya?
