After a few falls off a horse myself lately (what is it with me no longer being glued in the saddle anyway?!) I've noticed riding itself takes quite a lot of balls in general.

@VikingWannaBe51887 Usually back in the day, it was considered polite enough to just leave the lance head off to decrease lethality, how gentlemanly huh? I'd love to give it a go though, but suiting up and buying a horse? Big bucks.

I read this forum once of how much money it would cost to outfit someone with all the equipment in modern day and it came up to be around $300,000! Most of that was towards the custom fitted armour of course :P
