Nicely done. One minor addition (at least I think so). A lot of people have gotten (re)introduced to the song through Rufus Wainwright's version from the "I Am Sam" soundtrack. He does a great job of it, but it differs from Lennon's original slightly. In Wainwright's version the second chord of the verse is a Dmaj7 instead of a Bm.

This is the best lesson ever.. although it is not tuned half a step down, but rather in standard.. thats how John plays it and thats how it sounds. But this helped me learn the whole thing!

you can play an E shaped bar chord on the second fret, 6th string (the F#) or you can just hit the second fret on the second and third strings and the fourth fret on the fourth and fifth strings. i like the latter myself, just personal preference

Ummm...you are partially correct. The song was recorded in standard tuning, however, Phil Spector slowed it down a half step. If you want to play along with the version of the song as it appears on the "Let It Be" album, you would have to tune your guitar down a half step to be in tune.

This song does appear on other albums (Anthology, Rarities, etc.) in standard tuning.
