Southlands mall tornado, Aurora, Colo. June 7, 2009

that was super scary me and my sis were driving threw it i almst peed myself it was intense

i was at southlands while it happened thankfully no one got hurt but it sounded like the tornadoe was right outside sports authority but i couldnt see out the window it was all fog hail rain and wind all the trees outside got bent over leaving piles of hail and disruction my friends car window got smashed cars where destroyed it was all tragedy right after the toradoe we got picked up by my friends parents we all had to climb over broken glass and crushed trach cans

This tornado passed in back of my house and I shot this video afterwards. Even as an EF2 it ripped off fronts of stores at Southlands Mall. Lifted several cars and moved them and sucked the entire Red Brick pizza parlor clean of every Piece of furniture, Ovens, Counters, everything inside was gone.

i work for the southlands cleaning crew and i had to clean the area around jamba juice and red brick pizza ....i'll never forget that night didnt go home til 10 that night

Yeah, I watched it from my porch head east right at my house, and then it veered left over southlands mall. Incredible
