My dog is a GoldenChow mix, but looks as if he favors his Chow Chow side most. (: His tounge is pink, but has blue-black spots on it, and it's adorable! :D Best dogs ever.

My aunt (she lived by us) had a chow chow, she was the sweetest dog EVER. I would ride her and really, I might have annoyed her from tme to time but she NEVER EVER showed any signs of aggression. She was a complete sweet heart.

best dog i ever owned was pure breed chow and ive had pits akitas huskys labs rots and a bunch of mutts thru my life never cared for any of them but my chow chow smartest dog i ever knew nicest dog ever also unless another dog attacked him they are a great dog despite what people think

These are great dogs but aren't for everyone. If you read up on how to raise them properly, they make great companions. I have to agree with another poster... they don't act like other dogs. Very unique personalities.

I was bitten by a Chow Chow when I was really young. It was a horrific experience but it was my fault. I tried to move his food bowl. As an adult I fell in love with them and have had 3.

I had a chow chow and it was one crazy ass dog I had to put it down and then got into pit and none of my pit acted like that chow chow did. To much work to train that kind of dog to be friend with other ppl

When i was 9 years old we decide to walk my Chow Chow Bruce when there was snow.

We met up with another dog, when he suddenly started to attack me. I was about to get bit by him when Bruce just pounced at him.

So this also proves that Chow Chows will protect their families!

I grew up with Chow Chows, and when I was little, I would ride both Wang and Panda as horses, i would play with them, and never did they do anything to me to either harm, or scare.

I was raised with Chow Chows. It made me think that I was a dog lover. I got a dog when I moved out, and found out that i'm not a dog lover, I'm a Chow Chow lover. They don't act anything like a dog.
