first of all this is a great song with epic pictures. Personally I`m serving in the German armed forces and I also faught in Afghanistan. It was very hard to read in the newspapers that most Germans didn`t support our ambitions in Afghanistan. But that isn`t caused due to our brave soldiers, as well as the brave American and British soldiers this is caused by politicians! We Germans support the war against terrorism and we support our American brothers in arms!

good song i agree with the last part I live in Pensacola,Florida quite a bit of bases here for the navy and it angers me when people downgrade soldiers.I have great respect for soldiers but imo it isn't the hardest thing to do or go through.Imo anything that disables you from living life or doing everyday things mentally or physically is the hardest to overcome.

back in 06-07 I was assigned to OIF as an individule augment from the Navy to the third Army Povost we did the personal protection for mr . worley at about the time this song came out. I came back 3 months later to a year at a Naval Medical Hospital in San Diego and retirement at 80% wish I was back in everyday.

Thank you Darryl. I want to let you know that our Soldiers in our PTSD treatment center for our Warriors coming "back from the war" touches them and us very deeply. I hope our country will awaken to the fact that these warriors are dying and getting injured and nobody cares(except our veterans, families and others serving them). I know that they feel loved in our Center, but when they go out into the World - "You Don't Love Me."

back in 06-07 I was assigned to OIF as an individule augment from the Navy to the third Army Povost we did the personal protection for mr . worley at about the time this song came out. I came back 3 months later to a year at a Naval Medical Hospital in San Diego and retirement at 80% wish I was back in everyday.

WOW!!! Let me just say wow. This has got to be the best clip I have seen out of all the military tributes/ videos. And it is very true...The only thing harder than being a soldier is loving one. I am a veteran of the US Army and my husband is still in the army and it is so much harder waiting and worring about your loved one being deployed, getting injured, or even dying than it is for the soldier to just do their job everyday.God bless our troops. I pray that you all come home safe and soon

ive started this letter three times and its hard to without crying. its sad to think that people would talk bad about our troops who are fighting for our country. i cant imagine how people can go to bed at night and sleep all night by doing things like that. i do know one thing and me and my familly pray every day for our troops and their families. and i wish they would quit making video games for kids to play with of actual battles where americans fought and died.god bless our troops.

This video strikes home hard. My husband has the same problem biting his tounge with these also. He's right though...we are very vane and take a lot for granted here. WE'RE JUST PROUD TO HAVE HIM HOME! Thank you to all the soldiers who have also fought, bled, and died for our freedom.

A HUGE heart felt THANK YOU our service men & women for protecting us & freedom that we are blessed with! My son came home after a helicopter crash.Night terrors, reliving the battle of his life. Days i find him a crumpled mess on the floor overpowered by sadness. I hold him & say "thank you, I love you son". He barely makes it through the day Dear God, please be w/ our soldiers for as long as their fight continues.Bless them & their families w/ courage/comfort & get a restful night of sleep

Thank you Darryl. I want to let you know that our Soldiers in our PTSD treatment center for our Warriors coming "back from the war" touches them and us very deeply. I hope our country will awaken to the fact that these warriors are dying and getting injured and nobody cares(except our veterans, families and others serving them). I know that they feel loved in our Center, but when they go out into the World - "You Don't Love Me."

@debipisces man thanks for putting this vid on you tube and i agree with darrell soldiers do go through a lot some even endure the thousand yard stare thanks for uploading the vid my grand father and great uncle served in the army during vietnam my grand father was in germany' specialist unit for eighteen months and my uncle served in tailand and he could hear the american bombers note he is an american and so is my grand father oh and God bless the U.S. troops!

Such a great video. I love it!!! Most people dont understand our life. I'm in the Army now but was once an Army Wife. I would say they are just about equally hard. Made it threw a deployment with him getting blown up and then my own deployment. HOOAH!!

the last part. "the only thing harder than being a soilder is loving one" thats incredably true when i went to israle my wife and daughter squaled and then when i hade to go to afganistan my daughter was beggin me not to leave. just a note to all the recruiets that read this. be ready meataliy if you have a family especially wife and kids cuz leavin them and not knowin if youll come back and knowin you have to miss there first day of school, birthdays... thats the hardest thing youll ever do
