  • My church sings the our father to the exact same melody but its in english. Some parts of the liturgy is still in Slavonic such as Christos voskrese!

  • CORRECTION: God does NOT "Lead us into tempation." It is WE who do that, NOT God! Unconditional Love can do no other! Wake up people! You need to stop putting this line into the Universe - BLASPHEMY!

  • @slooash

I think you are understanding it worng because of your language.

The meaning is: take us out from temptation when it comes, save us from it.

  • The 4 catholic people will go elsewhere!

  • Do you have this video without the subtitles?

I want do one EQUAL in PORTUGUESE!

    Thanks!

    Christ is Risen, Cristo ressuscitou!!!

  • @Loiginer

De que lugar do Brasil és?

  • @meusisto

    Paraná, Foz do Iguaçu!

  • Ke kataxíoson imás Déspota --metá parrisías akatakrítos--, tolmán epikalísthesé, tón 'epuránion Theón, Patéra ke léyin: "Páter imón, o en dis uranís..."

  • Is this Lord's prayer hymn chant in Slavonic language ? if it does, could possible make it to pronounciation to English from this Slavonic sound ? So we can all learn how to chant this Hymn in Slavonic sounded but in English way.

  • @violetsviolets An old language that was spoken by the clergy in a lot of Slavic countries. It's pretty much dead now, and is similar to Latin in it's uses (not in a linguistic sense).

  • I don't want to sound ignorant. But what is Slavonic?

  • @violetviolets old Russian

  • @thelilja5 by hlaholika i guess you mean glagoljica? i think word 2007 has glagolitic letters, at least som of them. you translated or/and transliterated christ but it's more accurate for old church slavonic texts to write "hrist" or "krist", depending on variant (croatian, serbian, czech etc.) of old churc slavonic. so, "christ is our lord" in o.c.s. would be "hrist' jest' gospod(in)' - (') stands for semivocal (so called "jer" or "jor")

  • @kolokolo365 here (Slovakia) its called hlaholika and I think that is little different from glagolica of Bulgarians and southern slavs because the Balkans has developed and used even after the tenth century. Us ended its use of the expelled students of St. Metod from Great Moravia in 886. wow I did not know that word 2007 has this letters. Thnx for info :)

  • @kolokolo365 term "Hrist", "Krist"-us" has pre-Biblical / Torahical and pre Vedic Slavic etymology. "Christ" (incarnated god) is not Sanskrit, Greek, German, English, Latin, Arab, Hebrew name, but comes from old Slavic Vedic "Hristna, Krishenj, Kres, Uskrs, Vaskrs, Kresnut, Krsnut,..." and means "to enliven, to incarnate". The word was derived in Sanskrit into "Krishna" and to Ancient Egyptian Osiris's Krst and from there into Byzantium as "Krst-us" or Kristus or "Christ"

  • @kolokolo365 Slavic "Orthodox" (Pravo-Slav) Church has roots in Vedic church, not in Biblical... They called their gods "fathers" - "Ocem nashem Slava i Prava "(Our fathers in Slava and Prava -" - where Slav is glorious realm and Prav is righteous realm of Gods in Irij - heaven)

Krishna comes from Hristna. "Hare Hare " (Hindus will not understand that this means "incarnated one, incarnated one or "twice born one" )

  • It is really beautiful, thank you for video

  • how do you say jesus is Lord in old church slavonic?

  • @229jop888 oldest liturgical language of the Slavs and the fourth oldest liturgical language in the world hlaholika it cant be writen cause asci code doesnt have code for hlaholika signs. it can be only fonetic: "Chrisť iz gospoďin" but it is very simplified without pronunciation

  • @229jop888 voedinogo boga iesuusa hrista sina boshevo

  • @YOMAMAXXL Jezus is Jewish term - Jewish Christ (Osiris's KRST) was derived into Slavic "pagan" Christ - Koleda (new Svarozich) Svetovid (Hors - Horus)

Jesus comes from jewish Yashuah, but Yahashuah comes from Egyptian (Hykso - old jewish) term Shu which means "he who rises up". Slavic "vshel, vzhajat"

  • @VendPrekmurec lol i was saying it phonetically :P

  • @iryna787 На Вашу молитву я говорю "Аминь"! Полностью согласна. Благодарю Господа за то , что дал Вам мудрость и доброе сердце. Да благославит Вас Господь!

  • You are more bent on nationalism than on worshipping the Lord, having gorgotten that it was your folk who bent over to the pope , and started another schism...

  • Having grown up in the American Russian Orthodox Church, now the OCA, my church was a melting pot for many Orthodox faithful from all over Europe. My folks were not actually Russian, but they were from a region where they were kicked around by all sides, finally making it to the US 100 years ago. I have heard about the arguments my entire life, we are Brothers and Sisters in Christ first, or should be.

  • @AnnetteToob All humans are brothers and sisters in Christ, and we should rejoice in this, and fight for nothing more than for peace and justice.

Hetmans1 is still right, Moscow has done this to try and usurp Ukrainian nationhood. In truth, there is no such nation as "Borderland", or "Ukraine", there is only Rus, and the breakaway Muscovites who are something different. Ruthenia has for centuries had its history stripped away by Moscow.

  • @hetmans1 Forgiveness is a virtue and oftentimes very difficult.

  • Glory to God! Glory Forever!

  • Very beautiful... thank you for posting this.

  • beautifull

  • thank you, I'm glad you like it
