I have a lot of respect for Keanu. You seriously only hear good things about him and there's never any news on him trashing hotels, getting arrested, or generally acting like an ass.
You ask why an actor like Keanu Reeves is taking the subway. Not all actors have that "Hollywood" mind-set. I think, Keanu prefers to have a normal every day life when he's not working on a film to keep a certain balance and not go crazy or have a big ego like most Hollywood actors always driving up to places in a limo. Plus, those things don't grow out of trees, they're expensive too. I think Keanu wants to be treated like everybody else and not have special treatment just 'cuz he's an actor.

@PromoSeanTV I think New Yorkers see the occasional celeb ride the subway that it's not as much of a big deal to them than someone that will rarely ever see a celeb. My nephew's mother use to live in Chicago & at first she was like wow, it's Oprah walking down the street & so & so celeb but after living there for so long it was like yeah there's Oprah. Also another reason, people usually keep to themselves & are oblivious to things around them till they really pay attention.
@LilacFu I agree with you. People in NYC are not stupid. They know a celebrity when they see one, or a recognizable face. The mentality in NYC is that they don't care if you're a celebrity, they're too busy with their own lives to bombard any actor or singer. If they're having their off days, they know when to respect them and give them that space. Unlike California, especially in Los Angeles, an actor would be doing their groceries on their day off and paparazzis are everywhere.
It proves the well off people in the United States or even Canada can HELP!!!!! And not act like you own everyone, this way it allows for differences without so much conflict and can be who you want to be....
That "woman" that you spoke of on the Leno show is Octavia Spencer.I know she's not Halle Berry or Angelina Jolie or Beyonce but she is a great actress that has been around for years.Come on man,you should know that,especially doing something like what you are doing.
Romance & Chivalry are not dead, some may have forgotten how to practice them...time for a revival! ;-)
