  • Majority of this clip is dedicated to the new A380 , then you show out dated photos of older models of the 747. Not a very level playing field is it? How about comparing the A380 to the new 747-800?

  • A380 is a new kid on the block, so its a fad for now that every one is curious about and after.

747 on the other hand is proven worldwide for half a century w/ the best safety record in aviation history; that's all I have to say for now.

  • Ever since the A380 came out, I actually have more pride in the 747's than I did. Wow, those A380's are some ugly white elephants...

  • I Like The Music Wat is It Called ?

  • @MoustachesAreEpic I agree

  • Exept tHe girl singing

  • Like the music :)

  • Sry meant because

  • 747 is better base I think it is ridiculous that the A380 holds 555 people

  • Boeing arent the best plane manafacturer nor is Airbus. I have flown on the 747 quite a lot but i have only flown on the A380 a handful of times (I am a frequent flyer) I prefer the A380 its nicer looking, very comfortable and more spacious with better first class (Because of the nice soft beds, 40' Tv and nicer rooms)

  • @MrFrankenstein2011 He beware your Precious A380 has cracks in the wings and Australian flight engineers want to ground the A380 flying piece of shit. The A380 with exploding engines now has cracks in wings. Oh, yes and so does the A330. Do you know about the De Havilland Comet were jets crashed because of cracks in the fuselage. Seems the Brits use the same cheap aluminum that caused the Comet crashes are now on the A380. Admit it Airbus cannot build a descent safe plane!

  • @LottoWinner999

It's 50 years since the comet, don't you think they learned how to deal with micro cracks? Every wing of any airplane has cracks, the important part is to know why they exist and if they get larger with time. Crash statistics clearly show that AB CAN build safe planes.

  • @blablubb12345 The A380 wings are made in Jolly Old England + cracks in Aluminum manufactured by Brits proves how lazy Brits are when it comes to quality. The Comet crashed because of Micro-Cracks with advance lightweight Aluminum skin and what makes U think the A380 will not crash from Micro-Cracks?. This proves Brits are still cuttings and skimming money for themselves. Wake up and smell the Roses the A380 is going to crash one or another and if Airbus is lucky it will be a financial Crash.

  • @blablubb12345 Micro-Cracks are a warning sign screaming at you to ground the A380. Did you watch the video. BTW Boeing aircraft do not have Micro-Cracks on them! You don't realize how Micro-Cracks can suddenly fail and 3 Comets crashed because De Havilland would not admit his plane was flawed. Australian Flight Engineers want the A380 grounded! My God, Airbus is risking peoples life's instead of making sure the plane is safe. Public pressure will demand A380 to be grounded + U know I am right!

  • @LottoWinner999 And you are saying that Boeing is more safe? How many 747's has crashed? And read the TWA 800 story. Then you know what is a design fault.

  • @LottoWinner999 The wings are made in Broughton and that isn't in England. The problem with the cracks has already been rectified as a very minor problem that causes no safety issues. Airlines keep ordering the A380 which is more than can be said for the 747-8I. I guess airlines just aren't happy with Boeing passing off 40 year old designs as new ones

  • @aspiringdrummer17 U sound Mr. De Haviland who said the Comet was a safe airpalne and three of them had Decompressive Explosion from Micro-Fractures at 28,000 feet. Some of these Micro-Fractures AKA Hairline are a meter long. This is on brand new airplane and your not a metallurgist and someone cut corners to save money and Airbus is know for usinng the cheapest stock. What happens when the 1ST ones goes down and Airbus secretly replace wings on 2 defective A380s. Tell me why they did that?

  • @aspiringdrummer17 The wings are UK-designed and -manufactured in Britain period. Airbus in ten years has only 68 A380s in service! Airbus said cracks on another part of the wing were discovered two years ago. Airbus knew the RR Trent engine engine were defective when then they sold the A380s to Quantas. Airbus is a shady company cutting corners in the worst place and metal explains the A330 Air France Flight cuz they found cracks in A330 wings and defective Pitot Tubes + they said it was safe?

  • @LottoWinner999 Neither Airbus or RR knew about the problems with the 900 until it happened. No wing cracks were found on Air France Flight 447, nice try though. It was ultimately due to pilot error perpertrated by inexperienced pilots. Iced over pitot tubes aren't enough to cause a crash

  • @aspiringdrummer17 Bullshit French Pilots Union filed a protest and said the A330 is a dangerous plane to fly and if U read the latest version it was the Pitot Tubes that ice up + the computer took over + crashed the plane. There were three pilots on that plane one senior captain, copilot + one in training. Airbus covered up lies and wait till the trial. Airbus defective Pitot Tubes has crashed many Airbus planes and they do not have mecahnical backup WSI Wind Speed Indicators like Boeing! UY!

  • IMO I prefer Boeing, their planes look sleeker, more modern but Airbus planes look ugly. The A380 looks like a beluga whale :L

  • Man, this music is SUCK !

  • you compare Airbus A380 to a Boeing 787.. thanks.. I'll be waiting for this..

  • Airbus i dislike it because is the company that have more aircrafts that crash! In a change, boeing is the company that have the best security! airbus i know it because i saw videos of much time that the airbus crash

  • 374 concordes disliked this

  • why so many big messenges? just make a second vid if you want to make such a big answer

  • Subcontracted assemblies for Boeing included , floor beams (TAL Manufacturing Solutions Limited, India);[39][40] wiring (Labinal, France);[41] wing-tips, flap support fairings, wheel well bulkhead, and longerons (Korean Air, South Korea);[42] landing gear (Messier-Dowty, UK/France);[43] and power distribution and management systems, air conditioning packs (Hamilton Sundstrand, Connecticut, USA).

  • Subcontracted assemblies included wing manufacture (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Japan, central wing box)[34] horizontal stabilizers (Alenia Aeronautica, Italy; Korea Aerospace Industries, South Korea);[35] fuselage sections (Global Aeronautica, Italy; Boeing, North Charleston, USA; Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Japan; Spirit AeroSystems, Wichita, USA; Korean Air, South Korea);[36][37][38] passenger doors (Latécoère, France); cargo doors, access doors, and crew escape door (Saab, Sweden)

  • Airbus wins every single time. boeing ALWAYS loses.

  • You fucking american retard!!! You're nothing but american shitface!!! Boeing is just fucking american junk!!!

  • You fucking american retard!!! You're nothing but american shitface!!!

  • AIRBUS A350-SDL(Super-Delay-Liner) IS A NIGHTMARE

@kreativdronare Airbus A350-SDL turns into a nightmare + has no engine. Airbus asked GE would U sell us your GE-C90 the worlds most poweful jet engine designed + built for Boeing 777. GE said, "So sorry, GE-C90 was built for Boeing 777 + has an Exclusivity Contract only for Boeing. Wah, wah Airbus cried the day of buyiing engines developed for Boeing is over. Airbus cries wah, wah we have to pay RR 2 billion Euros to make an engine for A350.

  • FORGET 747& A380.......,

    R.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N is all in 787!

Folks this got the most advanced cockpit system, the most fuel efficient, most environmentally friendly, most lightest & yet strongest composite material composed of, most quietest, best cabin air pressure/ air purification system & most comfortable ride for passengers in any plane ever built so far; I'm so very proud of you, Dreamliner!!! [with love from SanFrancisco]

  • Boeing is just american crap!!! Nothing else!! Airbus rules ok!!!!!!!

  • @kreativdronare A380 is a piece of shit with 2 wings. A380 is powered by American Jet Technology licensed to Rolls Royce who cuts corners + build RR Trent Engines that explode in mid-air flight. Your new A320peon has Pratt Whitney Leap-X American engines. Boeing new 787-Dreamliner has GE-NEXgen engines that are licensed to Boeing + that means Europeans get to support American Jobs by purchasing US Jet Engines. Eurotards like are stupid they can't build a safe jet engine without fucking it up!

  • Eu prefiro o Airbus...

  • I've flown in both. Air BUS, it's like flying in a Greyhound Bus! I will always take a Boeing aircraft when I can. I know I'll get there safe. When the 787 Dreamliner comes on line that's what I will fly on or the 747-8 if I can. These airplanes ROCK!

  • stop fichting who is better, the only one that can say that is people who buy them, fly in both of them, or when you have flew as passanger in both many times. they are both very nice planes. SO STOP FICHTING~!!!!

  • AIRBUS SUCKS DICK

@rubikfan1 AKA Golum Hey we know Airbus is a POS (Piece of Shit) with two-wings. U should stop being so defensive about your "Precious Airbus"! Airbus copies every thing Boeing builds + than say how wonderful it is when its a piece of shit. The way A380 are selling it won't be to long before the cancel your "Precious Airbus". U Eurotards should stick to building Choo-Choo Trains which in my book is your true calling. Airbus what a joke name, yuk, yuk its lame piece of shit!

  • @LottoWinner999 I typed your comment into a fucktard-english translator and it said "I like peanuts".

  • @LottoWinner999 most plane cashes are caused by pilot error, the computers on Airbus airplanes stop most of that from happening. it has it's faults but it does make flying safer. flight 447 was caused by a faulty pitot tube which told the computer that the plane was flying slower than it was so it stalled, a pilot would've stalled the plane too, because the pitot tube is the only indication of speed that they have (as is the case of birgenair flight 301 which was a BOEING).

  • @SimHarrison This was pilot error + pilot should have stopped at 80 MPH when pilots + copilots instruments disagreed. 2ND mechanics did not install pitot covers bug built a nest that clogged the pitot tube. Pilots did not use ground speed indicator + captain ignored the co-pilots advice. Bad pilots, mechanics + tired home sick crew was the cause and U can watch " (5/5) Birgenair Flight 301 (Mixed Signals)" on youtube + learn the truth. When U lie it make U look a STUPID-IDIOT!

  • @SimHarrison Four A330s have crashed because of Pitot Tubes and computers and U should not point at Boeing unless watch the video which was good. The Air France French Pilots Union voted against flying the A330 cuz Airbus has not fixed the problems and the computers and they might be the cause of few A320 crashes. I was let down when U lied and to pin the blame on Boeing when thats not the truth. You should watch the video and learn instead of lying to me. Shame on U!

  • @SimHarrison

By the time AF447 stalled, the flight envelope protection was already off due to "unreliable airspeed". The pilots stalled the plane by themselves and kept it in the stall until impact. It seems that they were not aware of their situation until the end.

  • @SimHarrison Whats going to happen? Boeing 787 sales are going to take off + A350-SDL orders are going to crash and "Your Precious A380" will be cancelled. Airbus is so stupid they can only build 2 per month + have only delivered 53 in 10 years production. What a fucking joke Airbus has to build 500 A380s to break even + building 2 per month it will be 2025 when they do + the A380 will 23 years old + fucking obsolete. Airbus is waiting for the right time cancel the A380-WE(White-Elephant) tsk!

  • Actually,

The airbus is more fuel effiecent per passenger,

And its a lot newer and sleeker

And the Boeing 747 is also thin, and the Airbus is wide.

All in all Airbus sells better/more airplanes

  • Boeing 747 is not only outdated an unwanted. It's pure ugly. Why is half the top floor only there? Why didn't they go the full way like the A380? I prefer most Airbus planes anyway.

  • @tomo0086 You and i and the test pilots at Airbus know if you put an A380 in a sustained dive at mach.96 you will tear the plane apart. They only met the absolute minimums to certify the aircraft and the 747-8 was put there and held there repeatedly. The 747 is tried and proven, its flown with holes blown in it, been inverted with passengers several times and recovered, it has been in a sustained dive for over a minute and recovered. No Airbus product could survive any of this.

  • @prohelipilot1 No Airbus was put in such a dangerous situation.

  • @tomo0086 Your right no Airbus could ever handle the kind of stresses the 747 has gone through and survived, That is why you are better to fly Boeing, if you do get into that situation it is nice to know the plane can take it

  • @prohelipilot1 And how would you know if it couldn't handle it if it were never put in that situation?

It would have never passed the EU's strict regulations if Airbus were not safe.

  • @tomo0086 Do you have any education, it passed but by meeting minimums, Boeing jets pass by far exceeding minimums. And a 747-8 will move a ton of payload the same distance as an A380 for 22% less operating cost per ton moved so outdated it's not, proven realliability it is, More efficient it is. Why do you think in 10 yrs of sales Airbus has only sold 236 A380's. This is not a profit, it is a huge loss. Airbus is not self sustaining, they lose money

  • @tomo0086 hahahahaha

you don't know anything about planes because only a stupid thinks that airbus is better than boeing

  • FFS guys, can we stop arguing wether airbus or boeing is better? Boeing has more planes sold, but more crashes, whereas airbus is less famous but more advanced and has less crashes.

let's just agree that justin bieber is gay

  • your video sucks.

  • If it ain't Boeing I ain't going !!

  • B747 will always win... not only because Airbus is mainly French (thus all points to be multiplied by 0), but also because the A380 is soooo UGLY!!!

  • @JonaLB752fan It is not just that the A380 is ugly, it is not very aerodynamic. Therefore it lacks in efficiency. Aircraft manufacturers are in business to make money and with only 236 sold Airbus will never recover their development costs of the Titanic of the skies. Both the B747-8 and the B787 are far ahead of this plane as far as technology goes and miles ahead of it as far as efficiency goes. The A350XWB has already had a design change to copy the new more efficient Boeing wings

  • the companies can put together spacious mock-up interiors, if the airline companies decide to squeeze 800 economy in....

  • cant we all just enjoy the planes. i really dont care which 1 is better as long as it gets me from a to b and i have a fantastic holiday in the process.

  • According to BOACMach2 the 361 dislikes below this video came from airlines which already bought the A380

  • Comment removed

  • the airbus a380 is the best plane in the World ther is not another same i love it

  • a380!

  • For me, the A380 is just another step away from the majesty of flight. Despite it's more elegant and classical looks, the B747 took some of the first steps in that same direction. One day, the last 747 flying will land. That is a sad void that I suspect the A380 will never fill. Still, if people turn up for international flights in their PJs, it is clear the majesty of flight isn't a concern.

  • A380 flys like a moving turd and the 747 flies like an actual plane i dont hate the a380 in fact i like it but the 747 is and always will be better

  • @IMACOOLBOY12

    watch?v=T28wC8UPk7U

So much for "flys like a moving turd"

  • Yes the a380 has higher capacity but I'm pretty sure that they're not always full, and neither are the 747s. People will look to fly on the more comfortable and newer plane, be that whichever. The airlines eventually make the comfort decision. For example, Air Austral wants 800+ seats on their a380. That's screaming babies times 3. Too many people! Whatever.

  • A380 has already destroyed the 747-8i what a pointless plane 40 extra seats ok if its a small jet put a wide body?

  • @dennis13592 thats why is retarded to compare these two planes..... the boeing is fucking 40 years older so its like comparing a spitfire with a su-27

  • @dennis13592 You keep telling yourself how great the A380 is Dennis, but the truth comes from the order books and they tell a different story than you. The A380 is not doing too well at all as far as orders are concerned. It has been for sale over 10 yrs now and needs to sell 4 times as many as they have sold just for Airbus to break even on their investment in the plane. I am not a troll, but it looks as if you might be

  • @prohelipilot1 Are you sure that it's Airbus A380 you're talking about?? because the first flight of A380 was 6 years ago, so how on earth will it be in sale over 10 years??? And isn't it a good thing that they have more sales? how is that bad in any way, other than taking time to build that number of planes? :S It also means Airbus will create more jobs to finish work on time. A380 is so good that even Air-force 1 considered it's purchase.

  • @dennis13592 The A380 went on sale in 2001, they do not wait for the plane to fly before they start selling it Dennis. The plane has been for sale now over 10 years and sales are down, way down. They have already sold 576 A350XWB's and it will not even be delivered till 2017 now. To design build and retool plant for a new aircraft takes alot of money, so the break even point for the A380 is over 1000 aircraft, that is after they sell 1,000 they start to make money on the plane

  • @dennis13592 Also Dennis the A380 is heavier than expected and has a larger carbon footprint, which means it uses more fuel than predicted. As for long range once you subtract the fuel from the useful load for the aircraft it can carry carry a 107,000 lb payload with full fuel tanks, with crew , food, and drinks etc aboard that leaves room for about 470 passengers if you load NO cargo. The freighter carries only 4 tonnes more than a 747-8 but uses 0ver 24,000 ltrs of fuel to do it

  • @prohelipilot1 to be exact the REAL manufacturing started only in 2001, when it was configured and the wing component box of the first A380 was on 23rd January 2002. A380 went on sale in 2001 you say? I don't think so. And even if airlines from western countries don't order A380s, the oil rich Middle eastern gulf countries are piling in orders for emirates, etihad, qatar airways etc:-. I've lived in the middle east where fuel is cheaper than water so that solves fuel the consumption problem.

  • @dennis13592 Dennis do you ever read anything? go to Airbus .com the first plane sold to Singapore Airlines in April 2001. So go to Airbus.com click on A380 read this for yourself and then go argue with Airbus. If it hurts you so bad that the A380 is lacking in sales then don't come on here. I do not know what you want me to say but Airbus has only sold 236 A380's end of story

  • @prohelipilot1 Again on the fuel consumption issue, is there any other alternative to aviation fuel? it will be used anyway by someone sometime, so why not make the most out of it? which is cheaper? taking 600 passengers as 300-300 in two two-way trips or taking all of them at once in terms of fuel consumption? and if you'd like, A380 has reduced noise pollution.

  • @dennis13592 Unlike you who is a wannbe fan, airlines are in the business to make money, that is what businesses do. They can't buy a plane because you like it. And your wrong the A380 does not move people and cargo cheaper, if it did they might sell more of them. And it is not more advanced than the 747-8. actually it lacks far behind. And since fuel is an airlines biggest expense it pays to buy efficient planes.Cry all you like but the A380 is not doing to good

  • @prohelipilot1 I know that you only read half and guess the other half,on 12 july 2001,singapore airlines only firmed the purchase of 10 A380s but only got the product in 2007.I'm not a fan of A380, just stating the facts. And again on fuel, huge commercial jets consume large quantities of fuel & if 747-8 doesn't consume as much fuel as A380, it won't be far behind in the rate/quantity.you said that you'r not a troll but you not accepting the facts and being stubborn as a mule is being a troll.

  • @dennis13592 The planes Dennis are sold long before they are built, Example Airbus has already sold 567 A350WXB's and they won't be delivered for yrs to come. It is not reading half the story and guessing the other half. And I did not yet comment about the 747-8, So here, Large Jumbo jets ( A380, 747-8 ) are a niche. The market is leaning towards aircraft like the 777 for longhaul Hence the development of the A350WXB..

  • @dennis13592 The A380 is bigger so of course it is going to burn more fuel, but as the airlines look at it what matters is how much freight ( or people ) you move per so much fuel burned Or per dollar operating cost and the 747-8 does it cheaper the A380 is cost competitive to a 747-400.E ventually planes the size of the A380/ 747 will be flown on 2 engines. Yrs ago you airlines had to use minimum 3 engine planes on ocean crossing flights. 2 bigger engines can do it cheaper than 4 small ones

  • @dennis13592 Airbus A380's have a much larger wing span, which means it won't fit in most terminals. It also runs on WAY more fuel which makes it less wanted by major airlines such as United. Third A380's have never had major issues because it is newer. If you have a aircraft for 30 or 40 years, you will have many crashes because that's just the way it goes. If you still think the A380 is better, suit yourself.

  • @edward1000000000000 I bet most airports couldn't handle a B747 in its early days and it's fuel consumption was greater than any other aircraft then, but it still held on,didn't it?so will A380 and airports which want to get in A380s.United isn't the only airline that's out there,it might stick to boeing as it's an american airline. airbus is getting plenty of orders for A380s and is trying to meet demands of existing orders.why are people stuck with fuel and size if airlines that buy em don't?

  • @dennis13592 its just a matter of time... before a 380 falls out of the sky and takes 500 - 600 lives with it in a ball of hell fire. its already plagued with a rash of engine failures, and issues etc. just like a typical second-rate Airbus. Cant expect more from a flying pot-belly pig like the 380. in comparison the new 747-8I is like a graceful bird in most catagories as compared to the ugly flying potbelly pig A380.

  • @Topfueltrooper The a380 is a great piece of engineering! no fatal accidents have occured, and to mention, that many american planes have had fatal crashes right after they came on to the marcet! airbus makes better planes, safer, quieter and more comfterble! not to mention that they come up with their own ideas, instead of you americans who just steal technology from airbus.

  • @azereali LOL boy... have you got that backwards. DO YOUR REASEARCH Mr. STUPID. So will you be on the A380 when it crashes ? its only a matter of time. there are thousands of 747s flying in the world probally before you were shit out of your mothers twat. the 747 has the best record or saftey and lowest number of plane-fault crashes per number flying then ALL airbusses combined. Only the4 737 has a better record, ( which has a lower percentage than everythign else combined.

  • @dennis13592 ; So Ireland builds good Transatlantic Ship liners ? (1912 )

  • @ziggy72170 Like any american idiot would say, without any facts..built in ireland by britain

  • @dennis13592 ; Yes, while I will agree with you. Nonetheless, one can't deny the "Jerk" you are !(Distasteful Tongue).

  • @ziggy72170 I never used my tongue to say anything to you ha! neither did i type anything directly at you, did i? i replied to a DUMB & DESPERATE comment the way it's meant! talking about ships on an A380's video? he ship building with iron and steel was something new during 1912 and if u meant TITANIC, I'd like to see a modern US built ship surviving a serious collision. and are you some kind of a handicap or mentally challenged? a stupid statement and a bracket and becomes offended easily??

  • Comment removed

  • @ziggy72170 Actually yes, at the time (1912) they built the largest man made moving object in the world, infact they built 2 of them side by side at the same time, the other surviving until 1936. only an idiot wouldn't know that anything can be involved in an accident. i.e.. you.

  • @suprac1,,sorry ! (English=Rude).

  • @ziggy72170 i don't understand your comment in brackets, doesn't make any sense in relation to my last post

  • @suprac19 that's exactly what i called him/her/neither of the two :L but like a stubborn mule, doesn't accept that they are wrong

  • @dennis13592 Airbus A380 has never been put through hell, not even once. The 747 has been. It suffered a mid-air bomb explosion and landed safely. It flew through an erupting volcano, engines clogged with ash, windows scrached with no visibillity, and still landed. Loss of cabin pressure, landed. Went inverted (up-side-down) at 27,000 feet and still landed with damaged Landing Gear, Tail fin, and wings. Became Air Force One, and been put through hell as well. A380 still has to prove itself mate.

  • @TheLastPieceOfBacon and the point you are making is?..u want a bomb explosion on an A380?fly through erupting volcano?loose cabin pressure etc:- to prove something?u think 747 was designed to survive a bomb explosion?kanishka didn't survive an explosion.if u wer a pilot or work in the industry, you'll know a modern airliner can land with zero visibility.if that old aircraft can do such things, don't u think the A380s designers might have watched, learnt & implimented countermeasures on the A380?

  • @dennis13592 Or a bunch of Eurotrolls trying to come up with a reason why the ill fated A380 should stay in production, its already outdated, they can't sell the fucking thing, in 10 yrs they have only sold 236 A380's not near enough to cover development costs. The 364 dislikes too this video are from the airlines that already bought the ill fated Titanic of the skies

  • @prohelipilot1 Actually when I'm stating facts bunch of 10year old american-trolls close their ears and yell ''B747 is the best! lalalala i cant hear u'' then they turn 2 us and call us eurotrolls ... B747 is oudated and unwanted. FACT! END OF STORY!

  • @dennis13592 Fact the A380 is not doing to well, It is overweight, it is inefficient, it handles like a brick and the sales numbers reflect that. But this Dennis guy who lives up the street from BOACMach2 in dreamland can't admit that. the A380 is not selling If it were so great it would sell. End of story for the Titanic of the skies

  • @prohelipilot1 ARE YOU TOTALLY INSANE?! Don't say something that hasn't occurred yet! You american's are good at coming up with futuristic fantasies and predictions that are least likely to occur. I bet u r one of those basement dwelling super-nerds who havn't seen daylight in ages! Who told u that A380 isn't selling? they've got plenty of orders in and is trying to meet up with them! MAybe Boeing gets machines to make planes and mass produce so that they can sell it like candy

  • @dennis13592 Watch " Panic over the pacific " China Airlines flight 006, The loaded 747 rolled 13 times while dropping over 5,000 meters in under 2 minutes and it pulled out and all survived. You think any Airbus could ever survive that? They pulled over 5gs consistently. There is not an Airbus built that could ever survive that. You know it and I know it. And Airbus.com sales reports for the A380 are nothing like the bullshit your buddy BOACMach2 spreads

  • @prohelipilot1 as if you know for definate that airbus can't handle 5Gs+? you are no aviation expert, just another boeing fan, like i said before. I dont even know who MOACMach2 is...All i know is you are just here to make 'ASSUPTIONS' and 'THINK' not 'KNOWING' anything.

  • @dennis13592 Well we do know for sure that the Boeing 747-400 can handle 5gs so you can stop calling us American trolls. And as far as testing goes, nobody tests as thorough as Boeing and Boeing far exceeds all requirements for certification. Exceeding these requirements and not just meeting them is what makes Boeing the safest airliners ever built. These are facts not assumptions and yes you are very much an Airbus fanboy and not at all highly educated as you tried to have us believe

  • @dennis13592 Again you spread your crap thinking it will increase sales of the already outdated A380. Airbus has sales of the Titanic of the skies at 236. You and your buddies wishing it was alot more does not cut it, So why don't you go knock on the doors of a few airlines and sell them for Airbus, cause they can't sell them

  • @prohelipilot1 continuation) Airbus checks every tiny part hand and undergoes various testing before installing on a plane. I'm not an airbus fan-boy by the way, it's just that the jealousy of american noobs who only hav a fantasy for boeing aircrafts and thinks evry other aircraft companies are shit thats in-tollerable. I'm studying aviation technology and there is no way that i'm a 'stupid fuck' when it comes to aircrafts, in-fact YOU are the PERFECT EXAMPLE of a stupid fuck!

  • @dennis13592 Let me guess you watched a video in class, Your the dumbfuck every part of ALL aircraft have to go through all the testing stages and be certified ( except maybe a cupholder ) Can you explain why the A380 test crew pulled out of the flutter test the second they hit their mark. You know in a real dive you would never come out that fast. These pilots know that plane can't take the stress. Watch China airlines flight 006 asshole. They would be dead in an Airbus

  • @prohelipilot1 Don't think i'm not experienced just with my age or think i'm an Irishman just because my country says ireland.Would you stress an aircraft even if you know it can handle that stress? if they know the A380 cant handle that stress, surely they wont put it through that amount of stress,,shows how informed u r when it comes 2 aviation.u r not a noob(newbie) coz u know shit about aircrafts, u r just unreasonable & annoying(troll) .I passed my EASA test, hav u got any similar licences?

  • @dennis13592 If you passed your EASA test you would know there is a world of differnce between putting a plane in a dive at mach.96 for 1 second and putting a plane there and holding it in that dive. You would also know that putting the same aircraft through it once and putting it through repeatedly are 2 different things. And yes I am a commercial ATP helicopter pilot and a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University

  • @prohelipilot1 why would i want to put a plane at mach .96 into a dive? it might go above mach1 at some instance during the dive but it wasn't designed for supersonic flight and will damage the airframe even the 1st time! be it boeing or airbus. why are you even asking me this?? look it, you are going no-where with yr useless argument. Ever since u posted yr 1st comment, how many A380s would hav taken off and landed on other continent, heard of any disaster??

  • @dennis13592 Nobody wants to put a plane in a dive asshole but guess what it has happened before and it will happen again. Holly fuck you got to be the dumbest shit ever on youtube. Planes get into dives asshole it is just part of life. Again I don't think you have had any training whatsoever. Type in " Panic over the Pacific " Air China flight 006 and watch it you stupid fuck

  • @dennis13592 If planes never got themselves in trouble then there would not eveen be a reason for a flutter test or a stall test, but guess what shithead planes do get themselves into trouble and that is why these tests even exist. And I got news for you Dennis, it is going to happen again more than once, sit a kid in grade 1 knows that how come you don't

  • @dennis13592 Well Dave your 19 so you don't even have half a year studying aviation Technology, actually I think you want to study it but as of now you have not studied anything, Or you would know just a little bit more about how aircraft or aircraft parts are certified. and yeah using words like noob shows your an Airbus fanboy. What is a noob anyway? an Irishman who goes down on another Irishman

  • @dennis13592 We comment to you and that makes us trolls ( in your eyes, anyway ) so you commenting to us would make you a troll too you stupid fuck. but then again your a biggot like that fat fuck BOACMach2, either way we will watch the A380 fail from over here and you can watch it fail from over there. She's just another Titanic

  • Airlines vote with their checkbooks and right now the a380 is way ahead. 747-8I has 3 airlines with firm orders, a380 has 16-17. The iconic 747 has been superceded by the Airbus giant. No contest!

  • @Dartagnyn Let's look at total order numbers for 747, A380, and 787.

  • @Brad1711 Yeah, let's compare like with like: a380 has firm orders for 238 from 18 international carriers of which 58 have been delivered. Boeing's 747-8 Intercontinental has firm orders for 27 from 3 carriers (+ 9 BBJ, totalling 36), none of which has yet been delivered. You cant include the 787 in this, since that is the 757/767 replacement.

  • @Dartagnyn The market demand for 747- and A380-sized airplanes is rather small. With current ETOPS allowances and the number of airliners approved as such, one could even say it's now a niche. And airlines that have that niche have, for the most part, already filled it with the 744. Much more popular on long-haul, relatively high density routes are airplanes like the 777, A330, 787, and A350 (coming soon). It's very difficult to operate a 4-holer as efficiently as you can operate a 2-holer.

  • @Brad1711 It's a niche market for sure and with the 744s coming towards the end of their useful lifespan (notwithstanding the increasing costs to maintain and fuel them) BA broke with loyalty to Boeing by ordering the A380 over the 748I. Their CEO pointed out that in order to grow their business at slot retricted airports (home hub LHR etc) they had to go for cabin volume for seating flexibility. So whilst 777ERs are more economical as a twin, the A380 will make them more money for them...

  • @Brad1711 ..So as airlines compete in the long haul market, the trend seems to be that A380 operators are using that extra 35% cabin space to maximise the profit potential of the product. We see this with Korean's A380 operating a 407 seat cabin, the upper deck of which is 100% business class. Singapore Airlines, who currently run 471pax are planning to "upgrade" the quality of their cabin by fitting 409pax into the remaining 6 A380s on order. It seems passengers will pay extra for more comfort.

  • @Dartagnyn Are the ticket prices actually different between flights on the same segment with the same carrier with different equipment, or is the airline eating the premium?

  • boeing 747 beats a380 by a long shot there for i vote boeing

  • Comment removed

  • the 747 is the best good old days

    right guys ??

  • @vdhhk no

  • People who say that the 747 is better are mostly just jealous Americans lol. At Qantas, the A380 has been one of the best investments they've made. They can now fit more people on their LA routes, compared to the 747 flights. Also people generally try and book a flight on a Qantas A380, compared to a Qantas 747...just because the A380 has the luxury of having privite lounges and a drinks bar.

  • @IIproductionsII who cares which is better. its all about efficiency of maximizing space and dollars for carriers. majority of people should be demanding better domestic planes.

  • @golfmaniac007 Well, the airlines care about which is better...obviously haha.

  • @IIproductionsII true but you have to remember the pilots they all say the 747 flies beautiful and is the queen of the skies and many tend to not like how the a380 flys but for the passengers i guess the a380 is a tiny bit better

  • @IMACOOLBOY12 What pilots don't like the A380? Give me the link to that please.

  • The A-380 will end up as little more than a very costly flagship for Airbus. It's a white elephant, few airlines can justify the expense of buying and operating one. For the price, the B-747 is a known quantity and can be configured to whatever use desired by an airline, uses less fuel and can be operated out of any international airport. The 380 has too many limits to it's operation and with the business climate of today and the long term future of commercial flight, the 747 has the advantage.

  • @Oldbmwr100rs

Sorry, but the A380 can be operated from any major airport and is currently the most efficient airliner availlable, including the 747-8i. With loads of 747-400 to be replaced in the next 10-20 years, there will be quite a buch of orders for the A380-800 and streched A380-900.

  • @Oldbmwr100rs still the 747 hats its own disadvantages. it uses less fuel because its smaller and can't carry more than the a380. in the end the a380 will last longer than a 747 because of its advanced materials and technologies put in to it. A lot of airlines are able to afford this beast. Emirates currently ordered 90 of these and only had 15 delivered so far. having a bigger plane means less flight and more transportation.

  • @hawkboy000 Emirates probably has more money than they know what to do with, they can afford to have their fleet of A-380's gold plated if they wish!

But don't count the B-747 out, it's not the plane it was in '69.Although the airframe is pretty close in appearances, the current and future designs have little in common with past models. It's got a great track record in both passengers and freight.I know the 380's amazing, but with the economies of today I still think that Boeing has advantages.

  • @Oldbmwr100rs yeah true.EMIRATES has the money to buy all these planes. the 747 is being used everywhere. i'm not hearing that much about the 747-8 though.

  • dis is a big plaen

  • They both have their pros and cons. No plane is better than the other

  • a380 may be bigger but the 747 is more profittable...

  • Working on 747 was a pleasure. My friend works on A380, and she's going insane. I haven't worked on it, but I flew on it. 747 does have more space. But again, it's not the manufacturer, it's the airline that orders a different interiors.

Second deck on A380 is very low.

    They are both great aircrafts.

  • BS!..those "roomy" interiors are for demo purposes only. Be it Airbus or Boeing in reality the airlines will cram another 30 seats into that space when they hit service. Show me any in service commercial airliner with that interior and I'll step outside to make sure its not Air Force One. Both companys make great airplanes! But in the hand of the carriers, if you squint a bit, it looks alot like taking the bus!

  • I prefer the A380

  • the a380 has first class and business on the upper deck and economy on the lower deck like it's the fucking titanic. Biggest ship in the world wasn't the best and neither is the biggest airplane.

  • Hey, you cant compare the 747-400 with the a380-800. Its not built to compain with the 1380, compare it the 747-8i it total out ranks the a380.

  • A new sub-type of the A380 was announced today: The A380-1000 (the 1000 is for the number of passengers it can carry). It will be 10 Meters (60 feet) longer than the A380-800. But it can only carry 1000 passengers if it's furnished like a bus. If you want the 3-class-system it carries 750 passengers

  • 747 was good for its time but now it sucks shit and the a380 rock that airbus for you

    thumbs up for airbus

  • hey! the 747s will fly forever

  • 747 was good for its tim but now it sucks shit and the a380 rock that airbus for you

    thumbs up for airbus

  • Clearly, The A380 has a better design and is more sophisticated than the 747. But keep in mind, The Boeing 747 was designed in the 60's. Ahead of it's time if you ask me

  • @bluecoatscheesypoofs I agree with you there. The 747 stands out for being revolutionary. I can remember seeing the 1st ones in the early 70s and being in awe of the scale and technology Boeing had delivered. A phenomenal aircraft for its time and has been till the early 90s when it was superceded by the A340 & B777

The A380 is more evolutionary than revolutionary but a great achievement by Airbus nontheless in being the 1st aircraft with 2 full length decks. Ideal for slot-restricted airports

  • The 747 is not going against the A380 Boeing Y3 is

  • No my friend... The Souls on board are what I think of... Its my job... Use your imagination. No crash is pretty. Airbus, like any company does what it can to meet the needs of the customer. If it means creating a possible nightmare... that's what they do. I understand that... I have to be prepared... High impact crash... 900 souls on board... 10% survivability rate... 800+ fatalities,.. up to 55,000 gal. of fuel... those are the kinds of things that I have to think of.

  • I'm an Aircraft Rescue Firefighter. The 380 is a cattle car. In some configurations, this monster can carry close to 900 passengers. That's an aircraft firefighter's nightmare. If one ever crashes, Airbus will go bankrupt setteling with the family's of the victims.

  • @imdkeeper .Nice comparison you made ,you didn't think of anything else ?

  • Boeing of course.
