I wish people knew the truth about Big Mac. Yes he used androstendione. However, not only was it legally available to purchase any local pharmacy, but it was also legal to use in the MLB. More, when asked if he took steroids, he confessed and told the truth! It is very unfortunate that people have a distorted view of him. He did nothing against the rules AND he admitted to it. What did he do wrong?
Big Mac will always be my favorite player,im not gonna lie i am dissapointed about the steroid issue.but as a oakland A's fan,i grew up watchin Mcgwire,to me he was and will always be great.

He and Canseco were the first players to begin their careers with 30+ Home Runs in each of their first three years. These guys came in jacked!
this not acceptable. some baseball players play naturally trying their best and a asshole like mcGwire comes on hitting a home run totally on steroids . if you want to use anabolic steroids please be a bodybuilder not a baseball player my advice.
