Ever heard of ring gumming? Twin tanking is safest and better for the long term but yea some cars can just run single tank without ever seeing issues. Glad its working for you.
i have beeen running on svo single tank with no mods for 6 years on my 2.5td cherokee, you dont alway need kits to make it work, mix with some diesel i nthe winter, but in hot weather pure svo will work fine on a bosch diesel pump,no heed to perge the ststem at the end of use.
I have a hyundai h100 and would love to run it on bio-fuel. Does "bio-fuel" mean vegetable oil? (Sorry for such a dumb-sounding question, but im not sure )
Also, is "bio-diesel" a mixture of veg oil and diesel? Thirdly, would it be possible to use a bio-diesel mix in my hyundai van (a diesel), without making any modifications whatsoever? (I'm expecting the answer to be "no", cos things are never that simple!
Thanks loads for any advice you might be able to give. Have a top day :)
@woody545 Hi mate. Bio-fuel is just a term for any bio related fuel so veg oil or biodiesel. Both being very different from each other. Biodiesel is the result of a chemical process using veg oil and other chemicals in a reactor. I don't make biodiesel, so dont know the in's and outs of it.
In my H100, I started by blending veg oil (from the shops - it was cheap 3 years ago) with the diesel. It ran ok but did have a little trouble starting some days. Send me ur email addy and i'll mail you

Cool, that's very kind of you. Yeh I've read that it's possible to mix standard veg oil with standard garage diesel to a 50/50 ratio, and that that might cause fuel filter blockage meaning the fuel filter might need changing if start-up problems occured. my email is...
@robroy0100 The oil comes from the main tank that used to hold the diesel so the pump just draws it up I think, pulling it through the filter like it did with diesel.

hi you dont say how your oil is pumped to your filter. is it electric pump .and dose the same pump purge the system
