Among all disciplines of human advancements, space travel and exploration for sure is the most important one. I hope I'll live long enough to see the first moon base established. And I'd like to live another 500 years to see mankind heading for another solar system.
@extratrstr: Agree about the music. Who let Michael Bay direct this video?
@ReelNASA: are we pretending that the Constellation program is NOT going to be scrapped? I mean, I'll play along, it's cool. I was just under the impression that this whole thing was off the table post-Augustine Commission.
Very Awesome. I'm glad that there are talented people out there who can help move the United States of America closer to getting back to the moon, and beyond! Well done! Thank you JFK, and thank you GWB for setting such high goals of achievement for the people of America and of the World!
the music starting from 6:42 is almost identical with the Pirates of the Caribbean main theme. Though this is not really important, and in fact I am heavily addicted to moon (landings) and NASA's work, so no worries...
at 0:43 you can see a spaceship. I know that its called MTV-P02 Copernicus. Does anyone of you have any information about this spaceship? Is this a real study from NASA for a mars mission or do they just use it for their animations because it looks cool?
I tried to google it but I didn't get anything...
Awesome video! Thank you for posting it in high-definition. It sounds like 2009 has been a successful year for Project Constellation. I am looking forward to an even more successful 2010. Thanks to the budget increase from President Obama and Congress, nothing can stop Project Constellation from succeeding. I will be eagerly tracking your progress. Keep up the great work!
Thanks NASA. At least there's one Government Agency the entire country can be proud of. I'll gladly continue to pay the 1/10th of a penny of my tax dollars to keep humans in space.
Fantastic video NASA! The team that put this together should be really proud of themselves. Its been a pleasure to be a part of a good number of the events in this video, and it was a wonderful way to relive those accomplishments.
Nice video..good work!keep it up!
