  • No. I'm a marketing exec that has been watching the entries and it appears to me that Heinz may have "suckered" (for lack of a better word) in lots of amateurs in hopes of scoring a really fabulous spot for lots less than they would have paid. I hope not. I'd like to believe that they're sincere and they really do want something from the heart and from the consumers that have supported them through the years.

  • Now that the entry deadline is over & the production quality of some of the final entries has changed the scope of this challenge, does the average videographer have any chance against the latest professionally produced spots?.

    Pass this message on & tell Heinz that we'll all be watching the final 15 choices to see if they embody the contest's true spirit & are not just a platform for established marketers.

    I hear you. My whole family worked hard for weeks on our 2 entries and could have used more time to work on them, but we were getting burned out too. Did you post any entries?
