Vander Plaats has pledged to pass an executive order to halt the freedom to marry in Iowa, thereby disobeying Iowa law and operating beyond the powers of the Governor.
As a Republican, we all believe in Big Government out of our lifes, Yet This guy wants to tell people who they can and cannot Marry. he wants to Amend the Consitution that was put in place to protect peoples freedoms.
Same Sex couples have family's and Churches, who is he to tell them they don't matter? Live and let live.

Dear Bob,
What if your two-point shooter could shoot 100%? That is, 100% of those who love each other enough to get married should be married? Either a law is constitutional or it is not. If so many Iowans are for it, then they can contact that state representatives and start the amendment process. However, I am confident that my fellow Iowans understand that our state will continue to be a leader in guaranteeing all of our citizen's equal rights.
