The Hamed that faced Barrera was NOT the Hamed in the 90's. He fell out of love with boxing in early 2000's. He didn't enjoy training etc.. But also i watched the fight with him and Barrera and Barrera only won by 3 points even though Hamed never even trained for the fight ! That should say something.

It seemed like every guy who fought Hamed just let him put on a show for the crowd instead of going after him.

That's literally exactly what happened though. Barrera didn't let Naz take "showboating breaks" like all his previous opponents had.

i ve been boxing for the last couple of years. even though i aint no pro i reckognise talent when i see it and he had it in abundance. speed power movement the agility and flexibility of his body was second to non, it gave him the defensive abilities. sometimes he was out of balance but his balance overall was amazing. if only he stuck to it and trained properly as he trained less and less in his later part of his career hense came ustuck against barerra. a fit fully trained naz wld beat bar

He became very wealthy which made him a bit bored and so spent his time doing other things like playing golf, giving more time to his new family etc which was a mistake and so he paid for it. Boxing is all about hunger but once it's gone, it's gone, prime or no prime.
