I have liked metallica from kill em all right through to death magnetic. Fuel is my least favourite, so many people say that they died with the black album. I say to them bollocks! They changed their style, James took singing lessons lol and they still produced the best modern rock/metal there is.

It's sad what happened to this band...They came out with the Black album and it was like "we're on to something".. then came load and reload and it was like "damn, we have some really good melodies up our sleeves"... but apparently that scared the hell out of them because they completely veered off courfse and made St. Anger and Death Magnetic which were good, but going in complete reverse of the direction which they had previously taken...It's okay to have a good melodic sound.
