  • he needs to stay away from the weed if he wants to be anything in the NBA.

  • DUke? u gotta be kidding.

  • beasly is like jr smith... a beast but somehow inconsistant so he cant start... he shoulda went to duke dats where all the greatest prospects gets trained

  • The reason he was somewhat inconsistent last year is because you had a dude who is a STARTER turned into a BENCH player. There few guys in the NBA that can come off the bench and be instant offense. (Terry & Manu come to mind, but the list is very limited) Even though Beasley scored in bunches, the guy is not one of these players who can just get hot. He needs to start.

Take a look at Iverson. One of the best scorers in NBA HISTORY. And he had problems scoring coming off the bench.

  • Same with Lamar Odom on the Lakers

  • aint nobody like duke

  • When i think of consistent Grant hill,Carlos boozer, sheldan wiliams and jj reddick come to mind.

    couuugh

  • When i think of those players i think of injured

    couuugh

  • Mike flew in at 0:03 and what the hell is wrong with DROSE not taking his ACT and OJ LORD LORD LORD and i heard that mike was actually smart n school

  • how much points shoot beasley on this match?

  • 18 or 19 points.

  • Potential is nothing without motivation to succeed. He needs some killer instinct to go with that natural prowess.

  • Exactly....

  • Beasley needs to work a lot harder to earn the merit you guys are giving him. He has talents, some natural and some earned. Until he gets his head screwed on straight and actually focuses he may have issues down the stretch. I know it's pointless to argue the fact, but by what I've seen, Derrick Rose seems to have much more determination, will, and seems to be more focused than Beasley is.

I hate to be the one to draw comparisons between two rookies though. Time-honored tradition I guess.

  • Im from miami and unfortunately have to agree with you, Mike needs to get more focused. I think if he did do that however, he would be a better player eventually than d rose, the question is will miami be patient enough with him... don't want to see him traded! I don't know if you heard but mike is out this summer trying to get more speed and run point guard drills, i don't understand that I was sure mike would work on his strength im fuC*in confused what is he thinkin?

  • put it this way if mike wrks on his point guard skills that will bettter increasse his handles im ahuge WADE fan frm tdot which means im a huge maimi fan(but if wade leaves i leave) but ne ways we all kno how beasley lost the ball in easy turnover situations if beasleys handles inporve he can drive n b a lbj type player n he will greatly help king wade!

  • he definitely has the most potential among rookies.....arguably among nba players in all

  • He's on the bench so that he'll be motivated to play better D. But he's already an o.k. defender and an incredible scorer.

  • He really is.Beasley should start

  • He's my favourite player in the NBA

  • one of my favourite to he's like the best rookie in the NBA
