Firth actually listens to questions. He responds. is able to honestly respond personally,intellectually, and frankly... rare for any actor today. No Hollywood, but precisely what the audience prefers to hear today--respectful honest, frank answers, with a gentle quality.

I agree. I like watching the interviews with him. He turns them into a conversation. This one is one of his best. I'd love to talk to him about his work. But there never be a chance for that i'm afraid. Quite sad actually.

Colin always give good interviews because he's not one of those automaton-celebrities whose vocabulary ranges from " you know" to half sentences riddled with tiresome cliches.

He's very witty and articulate and not afraid to give his opinions and back them up as necessary. He makes an effort to converse with the interviewer rather than do a straight Q & A crap - a mark of the intelligence that Colin is noted for.

I want to reply to this interview. This is very uneasy to perform today, as an artist. And to cover oneself honestly. He is good, in his explanations. This is uncommon also to just be entertained to a picture movie withought having to understand underneath and just let go. The freedom of the individual to achieve is discreat and reasonnable.
