  • you know i was kind of shocked when i heard he dfied but i was not suprised he took so many head shots and if you really look at his greatest matches he took a lot of punishment as for his legacy all ya gotta really know is this he left it all in the ring had more amazing matches than anyone formed noah he really was the best or at least the one who was the most deadicated to it sacraficed himself for it no one in our generation has done that

  • so it really has been 2 years hasnt it? still wondering why it seems still hard to believe he is dead

  • @KornmanUNstoppable It really is! Wrestling lost a true legend and hero. I can't believe its been two years already.

  • HIs death was in the most approprite place for him , in the middle of the ring . He was the greatest wrestler ever to walk this planet R.I.P Mitsuharu Misawa , you are missed.

  • Looked like he broke some necks.

  • maybe the best wrestler that there was and will be

  • one of the best! still, can't figure out why you put the same clips couple of times...

  • would have never worked eddie was too poor in wrestling to follow this style....

Eddie was great in the 90's early 2000 , not since he sign a wwe death contract

  • whoa i meant that He is better than tazz, Mitsuharu is awesome!!!!! idk why im -6 on my last message sorry

  • @jacool24 You're getting thumbs down because comparing Mitsuharu Misawa to Tazz is like comparing Babe Ruth or Michael Jordan to high school athletes.

  • @junklock Ah, I see. Like Comparing Payton Manning to Tim Tebow Right? Either or, Mitsuharu Misawa is awesome.

  • Misawa knocked Samoa Joe out with that elbow. R.I.P

  • Now thats real wrestling not the bullshit they are trying to market in the WWE.

  • @therealmosamania wwe is awesome

  • @HermanHermes compared to the Holocaust, but its shit compared to ECW, AJPW, NJPW, NOAH, etc.

  • @187NewJack not for me, for example I dont like that type of wrestling...its just about different wrestling tastes, so I dont see a point in saying this is real wrestling and this is not real wrestling

  • he died??? dammit!

  • awesome tribute Oô..RIP misawa

  • Comment removed

  • oh man, i remember when i lived in Japan and use to watch him live on OTV he was so good that me and my friend Kenji use to stay up until 2 am just to watch his match in replay again ..if you wanted to see see what wrestling was all about you need to look no further then Misawa. I could go on and on about how much he change wrestling but I only have 144 words left on you tube.

  • Thats so Poor whats happend to him i read it in Wikipedia *cry*

  • simply awesome!!

  • To hell with Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit or any American or Canadian wrestler that is concidered the best today. Mitsuhara Misawa is THE greatest wrestler of all time and fuck the rest.

  • @DeathtoWWE Although I agree Misawa may very well be the best I think its pretty fucked up for a wrestling fan to shit on any of those other guys. All those guys are fucking awesome... though Flair is over rated.

  • @DeathtoWWE he was maybe one of the best wrestlers ever but you cant disrespect all others...its not fair

  • @DeathtoWWE

I wouldnt say fuck Bret Hart, Chris Benoit or Kurt Angle, but Misawa was a damn good wrestler just like they are. Id say they are in the same category as him.

  • @DeathtoWWE I mark out for Bretm Benoit, Dynamite, tiger mask 1, angle. But Misawa is a different breed. Mitsuaharu Misawa is my hero.

  • superb compilation.

  • I can't believe he died! I just found this out on Wikipedia! Man, you wanna talk about losing a treasure. 24 time recipient of the 5 Star Match award and 5 time recipient of the Match of the Year award. Oh yeah, and those Triple Crown championship reigns aren't too shabby either. Mitsuharu Misawa June 18, 1962 - June 13, 2009. God bless The Standard Bearer of Future Generations.

  • John Molinaro said it best: Mitsuharu Misawa was the best professional wrestler in the world, bar none. The sport will not be the same without him.

  • Damn, man...I seriously cannot believe he's gone. Rest in Peace, Misawa! Gone but you will never be forgotten.

  • looking at those moves he's doing it should'nt be too surprising he died but damn that had to suck when it happend.

  • Ok its Official I guess but I found this on the Official PW Noah wiki "On June 27, 2009, Akira Taue was named as Misawa's successor and is the current President of Pro-Wrestling Noah." looks like Kobashi felt it wasnt his place to take over his old friends place

  • I mean, for a while over there at AJPW, EVRYONE was taking crazy head drops. But I've always felt Misawa was willing to do the most dangerous bumps for the longest amount of time. I'm very saddened, but I'm actually surprised that he hasn't died before. After taking the 2nd Burning hammer, he couldn't walk well for a week and had terible neck and back pain. And that was before 2004!!!

  • A true legend. One of the best.

  • RIP

  • nintendo should make a super misawa brothers game, where you walk around giving emerald fusions to goombas and defeat king koopa with a tiger driver '91

  • i wonder if Saito feels bad 4 killing him

    i wanna c tha clip

  • misawa, muta, kobashi, akiyama, taue, kawada amoung others have been over ince the 90's or earlier and never stopped. misawa was an all time great. Rip. i feel bad for saito though i can imagine the grief he must feel, but it really wasnt his fault.

  • is there a vid showing his accident??

    btw

he is the MOST underrated wrestler

he deserved 100000000000 times more fame than hulk hogan

    RIP

  • THE best and hardest working wrestler ever. RIP.

  • One of the best wrestler of All-Time RIP

  • rest in peace a great fighter, I really feel very bad about this news I just can not believe it is now struggling in the sand next to another large celestial fighter as it was my giant baba for his best move in the fight is and will flow Emerald . many fighters may have to do so but it can never match as I knew it.

  • man o man i just read your guy's argument its SOOO FUNNY!! I agree with WeNeedSomeGolfShoes

  • It said according to Wikipedia that Mitsuharu Misawa died due to spinal damage. Is this wrong?

  • Nope. It was initially thought he had a heart attack but it was a spinal related injury.

  • I'm guessing it wasn't that one suplex. My thought is Misawa's spinal cord was just a tiking time bomb. So many years, so many drops that would kill most people. I really hope that Kobashi goes the Akiyama route and chills out with the crazy bump taking.

  • I just hope that Kobashi retires soon aswell, or if not then just have the odd match here and there like Jun Akiyama. I'm pretty sure if Akiyama still wrestled night in and night out then he'd proberly be either dead or disabled at least as Jun is one hell of a risk taker, like the insane suplex he took from the ring apron to the floor from his 5 star match in 2004 against Kobashi. Misawa is truly the best ever, along with Kobashi, Liger and the original Tiger Mask imo

  • Misawa suffered basically the same spinal cord injury as Christopher Reeve suffered. Reeve would have died if not for the immediate medical care, something Misawa didn't have (no ambulence on site). The C1 and C2 were completely destroyed, leaving his head and brain seperated from the neck and spinal cord.

  • put words into my mouth all you like, it only makes your case look that much weaker and i already said it was closed.

    Ironic, or is it?

  • yeah, that's right. i play gi joe where i want, when i want.

unlike you, all you do is cry. your tears cannot defeat me or anyone else. you man child

  • your mother teresa attitude is growing old. and when i find you, you will regret being such a female

  • Benoit had brain damage(bruised brain). depression and was given steroids. I think he killed himself out of greif. at least that what I got out of the story in TIME magazine or what people working on the case told TIME. I'm not gonna dwell on this. Yes he was wrong for murdering his wife and child. But anyone who has drugs and depression in their lives are capable of doing. Crazy shit! look at crack heads

  • I GUESS what my man is tryin to say is what I've told people about Benoit in the pass. I admire what he did as a pro wrestler. Yes, it was wrong he killed his wife and child. But with that said, his personal life wasn't none of our damn concern. we would have never known until it was leaked to the public. I notice the WWE is trying to erase him from wrestling history, out of spite, over STEROID scandals. Benoit isn't the only wrestler who murdered someone.

  • for a male you sure do act like a girl. and i am not a wuss. MY HEROES, CHRIS BENOIT who is 0% wuss. case closed.

a wuss would run away from a challenge, which is what you're doing. oh did i do that, my bad.

go get a dental plan you limey toad

  • If you were a male maybe you'd understand how it's not a threat. i am stronger than you and i'd just like to make that clear. either accept my challenge or continue to cry your tears.

    *flexes*

  • I meant to type despite. thanks for pointing out the "obviouse

and you need to stop saying the word threatened. you being afriad behind your keyboard dosen't mean i'm threatening you.

  • lol@ Bucketofshit, your getting owned. I've read just about every comment you made and all you have accomplished is letting the world know what a pussy child you really are. Face it boy, your nothing but a little scrub with no credibility, why I'm sure anybody could whip your ass in a real fight. Thats why your too weak to challenge people up front, and you talk about not following rules? lol Your a joke, kid. Now why don't you fuck off and let people enjoy this tribute vid.

  • only women and child feel threatened by physical combat. destie being in severe denial (no laws apply to you) and having the mind of a child you are still a male. quit the bitching and man up

  • you may not obey the laws of reality but reality is where i reside. when you are finished with your fantasy world of "no rules" get back to me.

and the only problems here are your raging emotions.

  • Some worthless users are fighting over some stupid topic on such a video...now that's just low. This is a Misawa vid dammit! Respect him by at least taking that damn fight elsewhere.

  • had you read my comment from start to finish you would know the rules i was refering to. i guess it's hard for you to take in anything that isn't leaving your own mouth

i'll try to make it more obvious for you

  • you are a hypocrite, that or the rules don't apply to you (which, they do) re-read your last comments if you don't belive me.

sorry i broke the rules of your life by using slang. how insane of me, or maybe you have taken leave of your sense...?

  • great wrestler...

  • 2:10 Holy fuck...thats dangerous, broken neck central... R.I.P

  • i'm not pretending, you said it yourself "maybe i'm stupid".

and the only thing i notice about you is your scrubery lol

  • no, it is what it appears to be. if you can;t figure it out what "scured" means then badluck to you

and i'm not the one with brain injuries here

  • I noticed in all the matches Misawa was in, he wore the same green-and-white tights. That's what I call old school. He's one of the greatest old school, puroresu gods of all time, and it's sad that he died from a simple spot. At least he died doing what he loved, and he's leaving behind a great legacy. He'll be deeply missed.

  • Enough with you all already.

Enough with the Chris Benoit talk.

We will never know the full story, some will judge, some will say "Why" and some will not believe, when God wants us to know the full story he will reveal it, as for myself i am neutral in the whole Benoit crap.

But this is about Mitsuharu Misawa sickfaces, Want to talk about Benoit ? Get eachother's facebooks and talk about it, but this is about Mitsuharu Misawa.

    R.I.P Mitsuharu

    Your legacy will never die.

  • That wasn't a typo and even if it were who are you to talk? trying to act uppity isn't your forte

you sure are sensitive to a simple challenge. i'll come over your place though, whats your address?

  • i won't bite man, oh or are you scured? being 5ft tall 100 pounds has got to suck lol

  • i'm dutch too

  • Yes, it does take a strong male to do all of the above.

You can try to talk shit about benoit all you like but the man will always be a legend. If you could remove your head from your own ass for one second you would see this.

  • Pardon me for defending a Strong male.

And what have i acomplished compared to benoit? not much, but i am working on it. some day i too hope to be on benoits level.

  • Misawa the TRUE Wrestling God, JBL a man who refuses to belive he is not a wrestling god

  • I will never forget his tenasity, kicking out of not one but to sick Ganzo Bombs/Kawada Drivers

  • Will never forget his matches against Kenta Kobashi.

  • god damn..its a shame to see one of the greats leave...atleast he died doing what he did best

  • Rest in peace legend, you will be missed by myself and millions.

  • im sure Misawa will be unloading a few tiger drivers on anyone getting out of line up in heaven.RIP Misawa u truly were the best puroresu wrestler ever.

  • For those who had doubts about the cause of his death, it was reported that he actually died from the belly to back suplex. His Spinal cord was ruptured/broken and he was out.

  • He was a goddamn legend man, ive been outta wrestling for a while a year and a half ifve tuend in in and out then my friend emails me telling me misawa's dead i couldnt believe it like im trembling now he got me into japanese po wrestling and ROH stlye wrestling instead of wwe,tna crap and this is a tragedy such as the hayabusa accident 8 years a go except misawa wasnt so lucky....RIP u god amongst athletes!

  • i was shocked when i heard this, i wanted to see kobashi vs misawa one more time....

  • did ny 1 see samoa joe from TNA? i think i did in this vdo

  • Yes u see.. Is Misawa Against Samoa Joe in Pro Wrestlng NOAH

  • Joe wrestled with Misawa once, yeah.

  • this fucking sucks test die before his b day and now Mitsuharu Misawa RIP

  • theBucketofTruth, shut your fucking mouth. Misawa was a true legend and one of, if not the best wrestler to ever grace the squared circle. He put his body on the line for what he loved, and that was to entertain his legions of fans.

    R.I.P Misawa

  • fuck you bucket of truth who cares what you misawa is a legend a more of man than you will ever be

  • Misawa is one of the bests!

  • Hey Misawa inovated most of the moves he used, Benoit didn't and the move that killed Misawa was a BOTCHED Belly to Back Suplex

  • Idiotic troll.

I'm sure it wasn't serious, but to hell with Benoit and those who worship the ground he walked on. Good wrestler, sure, but he's garbage as far as human beings go and isn't deserving of the worship he still gets from those who somehow defend the indefensible--murder of his fuckin' family.

  • what the hell have you acomplished in your life time?

    jack shit

Benoit was world heavy weight champion

    choke on that, scrub

  • Awesome argument buddy, rated A+, will debate with you again.

  • just as i expected, you haven't done shit

  • ya seriosuly i hate when ppl hate on chris he was a great athlete and a great friend and person from my understanding and ppl make him look out to be this evil man who was caniving sick like fucking nancy grace she can burn altho the way chris passed was a terrible terrible bad way he wasnt a bad man he just got caught up in it all ppl needa ask them selves if there rational thought can penetrate through anabolic steroids and racing emotion in most cases ,thank you for defending him

  • Steroids had nothing to do with his head injuries, wrestling like Dynamite Kid and taking the hardest chairshots I have ever seen and taking large amounts of painkillers are more responsible than anything else. Notice how the major media in the U.S. just dropped the story (except ABC), that is because they found out what really caused Benoit to do what he did and it was determined that he was so far gone that he could not possibly be held responsible for those murders of Daniel and Nancy.

  • yes that is a very true and prfound statment

  • yeah i agree i never will forgive his personal choices as their disturbing mental problems or not BUT i still enjo watching his matches i mean he WAS a damn good wrestler and when people hate his style its being a little bit biased though i understand them and don't blame them i still don't see why everyones arguing people feel how they feel ya know now im very very upset at misawas death and still in shock this guy was a fucking legend if there ever was one

  • I don't condone anything that Chris Benoit did the night he murdered his family.

I'm only saying the large majority of people do not understand the state he was in when Chris Benoit committed those disgusting acts, it's nearly unbelievable that Benoit could even walk and talk at the same time before he died, forget wrestling, that is how badly damaged his brain was, look into it!

... Did you know the man?

  • i still think benoit may have been set up. there was no confession letter so i am unsure if he actually killed his family.

but even if he did kill his family, is this so strange? who here has never acted irrational before?

human error is what seperates us from the robot and i am all for it!

CHRIS BENOIT a REAL MAN'S MAN!

  • Oh, please, not all murderers confess...cough OJ cough

  • who gives a shit even if he did murder his entire family. imo it just makes him that much more of a bad ass

  • Well he also killed himself, and Badd Asses don't do that, only COWARDS take their own lives

  • are you serious? You think it was a set up? Is it hard to believe a guy who did roids and other drugs and took years of punishment and concussions went batshit insane and killed his family then himself, especially not long after his best friend died.

And no, I've never thought of killing my family or threatened to, irrational, yes, but that's a whole other level, you are messed up mentally.

  • Yes, i do find it hard to belive considering there was no real motive or confession letter.

Of course you haven't thought of it, that's because you're just some pussy kid. when you grow some balls like benoit's you can reply back to me, otherwise i don't need to hear it.

  • Some pussy kid? I went to Harley Race's Wrestling Academy, tore my brain sack, STILL went back for training the next week, then ended up in the hospital. Maybe I'm stupid, but I think trying to actually accomplish my dreams and not stopping until I'm in the hospital shows more balls than you're dumbfuck ass has. No motive? No, except insanity and depression, you really are fucking stupid aren't you, either that or you're blind and disillusioned.

  • you just proved your weakness with your story ending up in hospital. lol @ weaklings

don't you see the problm claiming benoit was insane. if this were the case someone would have noticed something beforehand, but no one did.

anyway you're still a punk kid and i challenge you to physical combat (yes, over youtube) next time you visit Australia please feel free to see me. your 5ft 100 pound ass will ge destoryed worse than benoits family

  • yea, real weak wrestling with a hematoma.

BTW, I'm 5'11" 195, I work out 5 days a week (yes, even now with brain injury) and I have a background in jiu jitsu, boxing, and wrestling. I'm not going to Australia, I'll let you stay there and get skin cancer.

  • lol @ ur midget ass and brain injuries

i asked for your address, i knew you were scured

  • damn how tough is the training at Harley Race's school

  • The tryout is tough, I got injured because I have two fused vertebre in my neck, which makes my neck more rigid so when I take bumps, it causes my brain to rattle around in my head, thus causing the tear in my brain sack. If you want to get into wrestling, go to his school, you'll get looked at by NOAH, WWE, TNA, maybe ROH and it gives you instant credibility. I'll be able to go back and be a manager, reff, commentator, something, I have to be around it.

  • i was looking for a job in pro wrestling, where is Harley Race's school located

  • Eldon, Missouri. It's 3,000 you pay 1,000 put front then it's monthly payments after that. There is a 50 dollar tryout fee. It's easy to get a job because it's next to Lake of the Ozarks which is a tourist area.

  • cool thanks once I get a job I should check it out

  • First thing you should do is talk to Harley. He'll help you get an apartment, maybe even a job. He has connections in that area. Get to know him, be polite, when you first start it's "yes sir" "no sir" type of stuff. You don't have to dress up in a suit or anything but shake his hand and don't talk to much if you do start.

  • Cool, I,ve always wanted to see a Legend like Harley Race, it would be a great honor.

  • He's a really polite guy, if you're into the history of wrestling, you're gonna shit when you see the facility. He has so much cool shit all over the place. Like photos from hotels of guys like Bret Hart, Sting, Ric Flair, Kenta Kobashi, Naomichi Marufuji. Old awards he's won, you go in his office and he seriously has like 4 different hall of fame plaques different organizations have given him, it's intimidating as fuck the first time you meet him. Maybe go to a WLW show too.

  • cool can't wait to meet him

  • hm lets see Misawa's accoplishments Founder of Pro Wrestling NOAH former Triple Crown Japanese World Heavyweight Champion and longest rainging Triple Crown and GHC Champion, Innovater of the Tiger Driver, Emrald Flowsion, and Tiger driver eithr '88 or '91 what did Chris accomplish WCW US Heavyweight Champion and WWE Heavyweight Champion, comparing the two Misawa was A GOD of Wrestling. a Man among Men and Immortal in the Ring, till Hiroshima where he died doing what he loved to do.

  • did Misawa ever break someones neck? some of those moves are lethal, a very skillful man if he managed not to injure people wrestling that style. Rest in Peace

  • Actually he never really hurt anybody in-ring. The guys from AJPW and NOAH were all very good at conditioning themselves for these kinds of dangerous maneuvers.

It's just that Misawa had apparently been fighting through some pretty long-standing injuries and those injuries--which had gone untreated, unlike those of other wrestlers--had caught up to him.

  • Thanks, although there a couple of videos on here of him knocking guys clean out with that elbow! but i guess that just puroresu, crazy fucks. RIP

  • RIP(*_*)RIP

  • R.I.P. Mitsuharu!!!;(

  • I didn't know him, but as a fan of wrestling I can respect his skill and legacy. No doubt he will be missed. RIP Misawa-san.

  • agreed. rip.

  • I still can't believe he's gone.

  • Domo Arigatou Gosaimazu, Misawa-San...

    Ja-ne...

  • i love wrestling but most of the examples on this tape just look clumsy, dead or not he probably injured a lot of people

  • That's the style in japan (strong) they ALL wrestle stiff, the best part about it actually.....R.I.P. Misawa

  • I disagree, the best part isn't how stiff it is, it's because of that stiff headdroppy style that Misawa is dead. The best part is the complex in ring storytelling.

  • Wrestling is real, it's "SCRIPTED" that's what the fake part is but this wasn't scripted it was a real thing, I like MMA also, but wrestling is great also & wrestling is real athletes also, the only wrestling that is a joke is WWE, puroresu(Japanese Wresting) & ROH is the only great company & if u like MMA so much y u click on this video

  • WWE isn't a joke, TNA is a joke. WWE does okay most of the time, I mean, who didn't mark the hell out tonight when Punk had "Misawa" written in green on his wrist tape.

  • TNA might do a full company remebrace thing cause they not only have 3 Japanese pros but "The Nation of Violence" Samoa Joe wrestled him once

  • buddy get your facts straight wwe a joke lmao dude wwe is mad real gone is the 80s and roh needs alot of work especially on a thing called ring Psychology every move has to have meaning your suppose to tell a story with your moves make them have meaning

  • I know it's scripted, but don't you think it's still a bit dangerous? I just think it should be safety first. I mean really, dunking a guy upside down onto his head? omfg o.o

Maybe you're right, I might be thinking of WWE but my point is, he shouldn't have died at all, doing something so silly. Wrestling should be safer, like MMA and UFC.

  • It's called wrestling for a reason. And it's supposed to be dangerous, otherwise it would be called soccer instead.

  • R.I.P Mitsuharu Misawa

  • R.I.P WHOEVER YOU ARE.

  • WHOS SINGING THIS SONG?

  • Three Days Grace - Never Too Late

  • 30 is what caused his death

  • why was he fighting anyways?! he was nearly 50 years old!!

  • hey look at Ric Flair he was wrestling and he was i think in his late 50's early 60s

  • Comment removed

  • FUCK U U FUCKING ASSHOLE, This man is a fucking legend, well idk y i'm wasting my energy like they say what comes around goes around, u'll be sorry u said that

  • Hey calm down, it's his opinion. I agree with him though, It's just too dangerous.

  • No why shoulf I, this wrestler is "DEAD" SHOW SOME FUCKING RESPECT, not trash talk, how would u feel when ur dead someone would talk about u & u had a great career doing it, ohh wait u probley wont care, WELL IT'S CALLED RESPECT LOVE IT OR HATE IT

  • It is a sad thing that happened and i feel sorry for his family but you do have a point. Some of his moves were very risky and i bet caused a few injuries to other wrestlers.

  • Yeah, he wasn't good...

25 five star matches prove otherwise. Inventing moves proves otherwise. Name one guy in World "Wrestling", and I use the "Wrestling" loosely Entertainment that invented his own move, you can't...case closed.

  • oh and if someone says "CM Punk innovated the Go 2 Sleep" that would be a damn lie because japanese wrestler KENTA Innovated both the Go 2 Sleep and the Inverted Go 2 Sleep

  • Yes he did.. KENTA is the pioneer of GTS

  • Who gives a fuck? Really, what makes a wrestler good isn't the moves he does but how much he connects to the fans, are you a typical net "MOVEZ" mark? Do you watch wrestling for cool moves that you think are executed smoothly and properly?

  • no I'm not saying he is good only cause of his moves he is good because of his accoplishment which also happens to include Innovating a few wrestling moves

  • WHAT HE IS DEATH???? WHY?

  • Botched Belly to back suplex

  • R.I.P :(

  • RIP Misawa, You are the Greatest Japanese Wrestler of All Time, You are in a better Place now along with the Public Enemy, Chris Candido, Pitbull Anthony Durante, Road Warrior Hawk and others. You can Now Wrestle them in Heaven. You will never be forgotten.

  • RIP MISAWA
