the humor is completely diferent. the royle family , pn and office are extremely dry, and are some of the greatest comedys in british history. matt groenings fav comedy? the royle family. fawty towers and life of brian etc are now extremely dated and just....not that funny IMO. we obviously like different tyes of humor. They shouldn't be compared to each other because they both have different styles of humour!

Dermot Morgan's death was the saddest thing ever to happen to British comedy. Thank God we have Father Ted to remember him by. My tears now have gone back to the legacy of laughter he left us. The Big One upstairs must have a sence of humour to have taken Dermot so soon to cheer up heaven.
