LOVE the Nook Tablet. Its fast and B&N has an amazing bookstore with good prices. The app store is also good. with new things coming all the time.

I don't think I'd like to be reliant on the Cloud to access my book or media storage - road trips, work, public parks...I think I'd rather have the 32 gb microSD for popping in photos or audio books, and you can access Amazon cloud on the Nook, I've read.

Finally a side by side comparison. I purchase a kindle fire as a gift for my wife...not sure I made the right decision or not.

hmm i was debating on which one to get for my wife....i can't compare to what she got me for a college grad present (ipad2) but i can try...its not like she needs all that...give me an update if you can on what you think would be the best...she is more of a book reader..the rest is just extras for her..
