yeah, in our school's version, we had 500 miles, and it was basically amazing...search back to the 80s SSMT to find our songs...im not sure if 500 miles is up yet but it will be =P

yeah i agree w/ peterkayfan123 my school did this play and the audience went wild for the proclaimers outfits. i was in the pit though, not the cast... pit band rocks!

WHAT THE HELL!! I'm currently doing this show and in the middle of the run. I play Corey Jnr and 500 Miles is the best part of the show. She says "you both look ridiculous" because Corey and Michael sing 500 miles and get dressed up by the their respective gangs to look like the proclaimers cus she thinks theyre "cute". bit of an anti-climax.

yeah in ours, our director cut it too. she said it didnt really make sense or something. but anyways.. congrats on getting corey! i auditioned for it too but instead i got Kirk and i also won the Believe it or not solo haha so im happy.

i played the lead, corey palmer in my school production of this at Plumpton High School in Western Sydney Australia. Background sets were really elaborate, great actors and singers and costumes were great, i do credit this video though, coz u guys have an authentic american accent, we all had aussie tongue.. lmao :)

wtf is everyone's problem, we're Idaho state drama champs 5 years in a row, we have singers as actors in this, it's not our best. We let the whole school be part of our musicals.

We only let 10th-12th in our acting group, freshmen aren't responsible enough to memorize their lines and preform in a month.

And a band doesn't help anything, a ton of people trying to get timing right compared to one person, it doesn't make sense, the actors and crew have enough to worry about.
