have to admit that the first time I saw this episode it had me fooled. Never crossed my mind that the "militia men" were ATF agents working with Gibbs. Until the guy helps Gibbs up of course.
it's funny how a guy that's shot in the abdomen with blood already gurgling at his mouth can still move his arm and leg so much. that's kinda how i knew it was fake blood. hahaha(: mark harmon is all respected, Gibbs is a pro.
did you see, at 4:08, he pulled that empty blood bag from his chest? For the actual show, the gun would hold blanks and there would be a small charge behind the blood bag. When the gun fires, the special FX guy would blow the charge, allowing the blood the spirt through the tiny X shaped cut in the front of the shirt which has been taped shut.
If this had been real, I would assume that it would be similar.
@ilovemybunnyfreckles Bullet proof vest capable of stopping the 9mm that was fired at him and the shooter shot a blood pack which was taped to the vest in a curtain place so the shooter knew where to fire.
