ur probability fails because when the computer choose the amount of cards change also if they get one of those numbers you will not get the maximum score. Anyways, awesome video.
You're picking three cards out of thirteen. The first one has to be 11, 12 or 13, 3/13 chance. The second one has to be one of the two remaining, 2/12 chance, then 1/11. Multiply it all together and it's 1/286.
k this comment is short cause the other one didnt get posted -_- i didnt copy so here you HAVE TO COUNT THE COMPUTERS TURN AS WELL
look accroding to the turn order on the movie the first time you pick you have 3/11 on your first turn cause wario and luigi chose a card,on your next turn you have 2/6 then last you have 1/2 chance according to the turn order 1/22 assuming computers always wrong and if this is THE TURN ORDER
Three computers take cards before you, so when it comes to your turn there'll be 10 cards with a 10C3/13C3 chance of your three cards being there, followed by a 3/10 chance of picking one you need. If you do, computers pick three cards out of nine, with a 7C3/9C3 chance of your two remaining cards being there, followed by a 1/3 chance of actually taking it. They pick again: 4C3/5C3 chance of leaving your card, then 1/2 for you to get it. That's 1/286 after multiplying

Dude! How many tries did that take you? I would've been so nervous at the end, 50-50 shot of getting the 13.

All probalilities unsimplified and in order.
10/13,9/12,3/11,8/10,7/9,6/8,5/7,2/6,4/5,
3/4,2/3,1/2
Or 0.34965034965034965034965034965035 Percent
Or 1/285.99992651381540270429159318048
So those are answers that are less simplified.
It really is 1/286 and 0.35%

I figured it out, it's correct.

and the computers pick that also lowers the number of cards -_- so the probability would change according to your turn. -_-
Dark563 3 years ago
But the final result will always be 1/286 ;)

Okay, let's figure it out.
