Thanks, Craig. As you illustrate, it doesn't take a ton of effort for people to learn the truth their TV will never tell them. Some cop-out with weak excuses like "you can't believe anything you see online." These people are forgetting that it's just a matter of employing the critical thinking skills we we all born with, and perhaps a few extra clicks to corroborate information. They're just afraid of actually learning some real truth and having to deal with it. That attitude MUST change.

A real TV host does not tell his guests to shut up, even if he thinks they're pushing an off-topic agenda. He lets them finish the point, then quietly puts them in their place with the facts. O'Reilly is clearly more interested in the spin. He's the one who shouts people down when he asks a question and doesn't like the answer he's getting. I have seen him do this dozens of times, and not just on YouTube. Entire interviews, full context. Doesn't take much to figure out he's a complete fraud.
Real tv hosts have about 5-10 minutes per segment to cover the topic not enough time to let the guest run off on a tangent. Bill doesn't let the guest spin or the bad guys get off the hook and that's why he's #1 for 100 months straight.
It doesn't take 5-10 minutes to let the guest finish a sentence without shouting them down and pointing fingers in their face because he doesn't like what he's hearing. He wouldn't need to pull that juvenile garbage if he had a legitimate argument. Every president swears an oath upon taking office to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution," Article II section 3 of which specifically requires that the president "shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed." As you point out, it's clear that Cheney is on the wrong side of the Constitution. But for as long as he does nothing about it, so is Obama.

Bull the more you comment the more you prove you don't watch the show. Yeah you've seen a few clips on youtube but you don't see the context of the conversation. Telling people to shut up because they won't be quiet long enough to let him or other guests speak or because their not staying on topic they just want to push their agenda or promote themselves isn't partisan its his job. Ex Barney Frank refusing to take any responsibility for the housing crash he wants to blame everyone but himself

A real TV host does not tell his guests to shut up, even if he thinks they're pushing an off-topic agenda. He lets them finish the point, then quietly puts them in their place with the facts. O'Reilly is clearly more interested in the spin. He's the one who shouts people down when he asks a question and doesn't like the answer he's getting. I have seen him do this dozens of times, and not just on YouTube. Entire interviews, full context. Doesn't take much to figure out he's a complete fraud.

Real tv hosts have about 5-10 minutes per segment to cover the topic not enough time to let the guest run off on a tangent. Bill doesn't let the guest spin or the bad guys get off the hook and that's why he's #1 for 100 months straight.

It doesn't take 5-10 minutes to let the guest finish a sentence without shouting them down and pointing fingers in their face because he doesn't like what he's hearing. He wouldn't need to pull that juvenile garbage if he had a legitimate argument. It's clear his job is not to offer up a balanced presentation, but to draw guests with differing views into pointless arguments and attempt to denounce them as angry radicals. Being #1 in a medium full of gutless sellouts is nothing to shout about.

I'm a broadcaster myself (25 years). I get it. The point is HOW O'Reilly does it. His standard practice of shouting people down in mid-sentence and telling them to shut up reveals his complete lack of credibility and professionalism. He's not there to be a legitimate host. He's there to push the corporate Murdoch agenda.

I work with mentally handicapped adults if I'm on your show to talk about the special Olympics & I start talking about taking the guys fishing that's a nice topic for another interview but you as a professional need to interrupt me & get me on topic because you have limited time with me & people have tuned in for a specific topic.

ArboriusOwns, it is not fair to compare Jperry and O'Reilly. The level of logic and depth of analysis is so different. O'reilly's talk doesn't usually involve any analysis, it is simply "they are bad, therefore ..."; and all that supported by leading programs laying the foundation and propagating the point. Jperry depends on a rational argument piecing together bitsof generally accepted facts. It is a lot harder to get to an average citizen that way rather than O'Reilly's zoo type souting match.

Bill goes after politicians on nearly every show.
I admire him for going after states judges & politicians who give light sentences to pedophiles. He goes after sanctuary cities that harbor criminal illegal aliens. He supports our soldiers. Donates proceeds of his web site to charity. He backs victims of crime or misfortune and actually tries to help them when he can. He has a Christian moral stance that I feel is lacking in most people in the media. Lots of reasons.

Bush lowered the abortion rate to its lowest since 1975 liberated nearly 60 mil people in 2 countries ending the rape rooms & making it possible for little girls to go to school brought rescue & relief to countless people after the tsunami & donated more to AIDS relief in Africa than any other president saving an estimated 1.2 million Africans. Not so heinous if you ask me.

Great job cherry picking the easy stuff. What about the 1.3 million innocent Iraqis (and who knows how many Afghanis) whose deaths he's directly responsible for? Or the nearly 5 million Iraqi refugees? Or the poisoning of their entire landscape with the depleted uranium used in George's war of choice? Many criminals have also done things that can be seen as positive. It doesn't absolve them of responsibility for their crimes. The ugly reality will no go away no matter how much you ignore it.

Obama cannot very well push for prosecution of war crimes while he is committing them himself. Obama became a war criminal less than 72 hours after his 150 million dollar inauguration, when he used unmanned drones to murder civilians in Pakistan. If and when Bushco is prosecuted, Obama will have to be alongside them.

I don't necessarily disagree with you regarding the Israel lobby, but here's why we MUST investigate the crimes of the Bush administration and prosecute them accordingly: First and foremost, we're a nation of laws. If we don't demand adherence to them, we stand no chance of regaining the moral high ground. Secondly, if Cheney and the others walk free, there's nothing keeping any future administration from acting similarly or even worse. Something Iran should be concerned with, don't you think?

I agree we must investigate and prosecute, what kind of message have we sent to the world, let alone ourselves if we allow them to walk? The gross amount of special interest lobbying that goes on is evidence enough that our laws no longer, are for or by the people.

I do agree that Cheney should be charged & convicted but the president should not be the one pushing for it if he does then he would be breaking the law as well
That is why the federal government has 3 Branches & its up to the Judicial branch not the Executive Branch to charge Cheney
Now if he had been convicted & Obama granted a pardon then that's a different story
It's clear Cheney broke laws & stepped on the constitution
but
the Executive Branch has to stay out of it

It is most certainly NOT illegal for the president to push for investigation and prosecution. In fact, it's his job. Every president swears an oath upon taking office to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution," Article II section 3 of which specifically requires that the president "shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed." As you point out, it's clear that Cheney is on the wrong side of the Constitution. But for as long as he does nothing about it, so is Obama.
