  • cool, I just found my tickets in my old wallet to this concert!

  • Wow this was my first Journey concert i hav a vid from this one too u can look up cpudude30k to find it that was one of the best nights ive ever lived!

  • Arnel is great. Even if he's sick he can still deliver perfectly. Best showmanship! Neal Schon is amazing, "muy guapo"!

  • marame ang may gousto sa kan ya

  • kinakapos na boses nya.. halatang pagod na... wawa naman..

  • My sister and I saw them this night. They were all awesome. Journey really rocks and made both my sister and I danced the entire show, never sat down the entire concert. Watching this vid gave me flashbacks of that wonderful, spectacular night!!!! Can't wait to see you guys in 2009.

  • lowered key

  • he was sick

  • nice video mdbay, by the way how did you managed to get the tickets..are you guys platinum members ? I don't know anybody who got a chance to buy a single ticket since July.

  • Kuhliglig - this may be long but you asked - that is a story where all the stars and the planets aligned perfectly. I've been keeping an eye on the Pechanga website for ticket information after I saw this concert on Journey's tour list but never found a way to purchase. (I'm a newbie to the concert scene) My daughter was sick the day the tickets went on sale (I was oblivious to that fact) so I had to stay home.

  • After getting her settled in and comfortable, I went to check my work email. Just for the heck of it, almost out of habit, I checked the Pechanga website and wouldn't you believe it, the online purchasing options were available!! I like speaking to a live person when I make a purchase so called the Box Office phone number. They said 10AM was the start time to sell the tickets and they were sold out already...it was barely 10:20 or so.

  • But Pechanga offered a 2 tickets & room package and the lady said they might have some tickets there so she connected me to reservations. Connect me she did...The reservations lady told me that they do have a few more packages left and asked if I wanted it. OFCOURSE I wanted it but this was a big purchase so I battled it out in my head. This is why I checked isn't it?

  • The lady finally hit me one more time and urged that if I don't grab it now, there will be no more because there were at least 50 other calls in her queue and there were not enough packages left to go around. I jumped and said "YES, Book it! Book it!" As she took my information, i refreshed the Pechange box office webpage only to see a "Sold Out" announcement!! Did I luck out or what?!

  • Later I find out that the venue is only 1200 seats and the tickets sold out within half hour of being on sale...yes I lucked out and boy what a night!...since we got the room, we found the pre-concert party fans and we stayed up until 3AM talking to the avid Journey/AP fans. It was so much fun knowing that there is a Journey family of fans gathering, chatting, hanging out!

  • Hey guys nice vid. So clear, I always look forward to look all of your video. By the this is Sonia (Lou's sis) we met in Pechanga concert (thanks for the wonderful night) and i found my album, sorry for the hassle looking for it. Hello to ur kids. Thanks

  • OMG he handles his fever in an awesome way.. i really noticed it that he is really tired, and also the note is more lower than the original sound.. thats y they are more concerned on AP's conditioning... well they should... but AP hits everything on to the highest level.. he is always awesome... keep it up AP!

  • Wooo hoo! Time of our lives at this one! And what a GREAT set!

    ~ Chrissy (OnMyJourney)

  • hey, what a good view from the stage! arnel was in his usual amazing self... lol... one of the best vids i've seen on this tour.. thanks for sharing

  • wow, very, very cool! loved 3:35 where arnel gets on riser, air jumps then knelt down with neal and jammin' together...awesome!!!! thanks!!

  • Simply awesome! I'm totally lost for words to describe Arnel's raw energy. Wish i was there seeing and hearing them live. Well, Singapore will just have to wait...patiently. TY for sharing

  • wow what a best performance for arnel everybody are on their feel dancing and clapping the whole time, arnel has a full energy and chhering the crowd as well. mabuhay ka kabayan

  • i was there and let me tell you that it was the most ever concert of the year at pechanga. arnel was a big plus for the band amazing performance, ang galing mo kabayan

  • the atmosphere last night was very intimate and personal. when Arnel and Journey sings, it seems like they're performing it just for you. Very true with their rendition of Open Arms, Don't Stop Believing and Faithfully (IN A ROW)! and yes, Deen's pounding on the drums really beats my heart, Neal's guitarwork is a weeping call, Jonathan's piano, a classic masterpiece and yes, Ross V's bass playing is right on in tune that makes the Journey sound unique.

  • rw347463,

you're right. i was thinking:" Wrong concert, it couldn't be the Journey sound". luckily, the sound guy might have heard the loud cheers the audience gave the J-Boys. Good, you're not alone. i saw a lot them got transformed right before my eyes--it's a nice feeling.

  • Thanks Limlm! I lucked out in every way. The sound was perfect. The thud-thud from the bass in my chest was perfect. The view was awesome! Meeting hardcore Journey fans was the icing on the cake that night!

  • I also was there last night and what an awesome show however, the sound during the first 2 - 3 songs was horrible. The person who was working the sound board needed to clean his ears before the show. Arnel,"WOW" what a voice and Neal was as good as it gets, I was transformed back to the 80's.

  • Journey and Arnel are BETTER than advertised. Watch them and be wowed and awed. To me, they're a revelation after waiting for them since March and I'm thankful to Arnel he gave me this chance to see them after I almost given up. It's really true, don't stop believing! and also, be good to yourself and He will be good to you. May you make more meaningful music to help lift our spirits in these uncertain and trying times. The journey continues...next year. I can't wait already.

  • From everything I've heard, camera security was tighter up front. I'd put away my camera to trade for being up front, LOL!! (I don't know about anyone else but these youtube vids make me WANT to see the LIVE concerts even more and the venue in this case gets residual kudos - WIN-WIN for all.) This is definitely a great venue. Arnel is a real trooper! Saw him use the Kleenex during Jonathan/Neal's piece of the encore behind the piano - trooper!

  • grubshop, true security was tight but they're inconsistent. one guy in our section practically recorded the WHOLE concert. lol. and i was the one told to stop, but, i continued later in portions of the songs. i just wanted to enjoy the concert and stop recording.

  • mdbay1, for somebody who's just joined YouTube two days ago, you did great in video (panning, fade in/out) and audio ( you got lucky to be far away enough from those enormous speakers. (i was seated at the Gold Section, a little to your left and very near the woofers- got deaf till noon today, lol). i, too, have some videos but for home viewing only. (ok, i'll admit it: i still don't know how to post them here. just give me the time. thanks again.

  • thanks for sharing. He sounds tired, but hes still an amazing performer. Go Arnel!!

  • This video is so clear. Thank you for the post. Arnel sounds excellent. I just watched the other video and know he was sick, but he hides it well.

  • Almost there Arnel. Konti na lang tapos na. Just hold on!!!!
