Is this built on the Opel GT/Saturn Sky chassis? Looks like similar size and shape! Plus you can buy twin-turbo corvette motor kits that bolt right into the Saturn Sky... Pretty sure that's what this car started out as.... there's a few 700+hp Saturn Sky's on youtube with that particular swap.

Yet another underground car company useing the vette as there platform... then calling it a supercar like its thier design, all they did was put new skin on the car. There are atleast 2 other companies doing this with the vette. Some are useing the ac shelby cobra the same way.

That's because the Corvette body is not structural - it's a plastic body on an alumiunum frame - and therefore easily replaceable. Most modern cars have an unibody chassis, wich makes very hard altering the bodywork.

I think nowadays any car company can make a street legal racecar. Whats hard to make are cars like the Bugatti Veyron, Pagani Huayra, Zenvo ST1, or even Koenigsegg Agera R. Supercars with luxury amenities like air/heat, stereo with nice sounds, large display, etc.
