@phgh1520 My last name is actually russian. It was shortened when my relatives moved to the US a century ago. Like most Americans I'm a mutt made up from numerous nationalities. I really don't associate with any nationality aside from American. I don't know if that is strange or not?
@phgh1520 That's ok. I only brought it up because I have little knowledge in regards to the nationalities of last names. I'm very odd in that way. I know allot of strange things, but don't know much about countries or language
I never seen such great vids ,to tell the truth ,i dunno anything about jquery and feel so happy being here ,i mean just being n your channel makes me feel that i can learn anything ,you are awesomeness redefined :::)))
Awesome tut! I've been struggling to wrap my head around jQuery for awhile now, with no success. After watching these tutorials, I've actually been able to go in write my event handlers without any assistance from any reference material! I hope you have jQuery ajax in your list as well. Thanks again!
Awesome stuff as usual. I was wondering about the legality of JQuery. Is it fine to use it on a for-profit site? Also when are you planning on doing a tutorial on how to do a chat?
@bry789123 You can use JQuery on for profit sites. I'll be getting into chat systems very soon. As soon as I'm done with teaching the basics I'll spend a whole month creating just chat systems, wordpress themes and plugins, light boxes, etc.
@bry789123 I never thought about that? I really love Wordpress and like its search tool. I'm not a major fan of recreating the wheel. I think the flaw in Wordpress is that there are no perfect themes. I want to focus on teaching how to make any theme and/or plugin. I'm thinking big. The search is just a database tutorial really and if you think it's important I'll cover it. It is actually very simple to implement. I kind of covered it already
@JeremyTiki Normally I use Coda, but in these tutorials I just use a free text editor call Text Wrangler. The browser I display everything on is Chrome. I try to always use free software. I own dreamweaver, but never use it. I use Eclipse (which is free) when I program in languages like python.
@JeremyTiki Yes I have tried Komodo, but I didn't spend a ton of time with it. I love straight text editors for the most part. I just got used to text wrangler a while back and got used to it. I'll also love Coda, but again it is probably more a force of habit more than anything else. I'm a creator of habit, but I'll check Komodo out. Thanks for the info :)
@derekbanas Komodo has a ton of great add-ons that make it really easy to use, plus my favorite reason for using it, you can bind certain actions to key strokes; for example I use Command-D to delete entire lines of code.
Thank You very much for these videos! And greetings from Bulgaria :)

@derekbanas Sounds good. Will you also include how to make a search for your site?

@derekbanas I personally need my own custom search, but any advice you can give would be helpful. Even if its just a message. Thanks

@derekbanas Have you ever tried the free version of Komodo from Activision? Thats generally what I use for web programming and Python
