is this one born in captivity or wild?? cause this is the biggest skink i have ever seen!! its awesome!! and my bearded dragon is really mean and wont let me hold him i was wondering how your like you to hold them??
Curious - is there a strong, offensive smell when Blue Tongues defecate? I ask because I currently have several species of gecko, and they have little to no smell. Thanks.
what kind of skink is that mine has the same markings i just want to know what species can u answer some simple questions i have if i send u a pm ittl help me alot
Not true... Pocketbread may only have indonesian species where they are. Indos are a lot cheaper than ones from Australia because they can still be imported and are most likely wild caught (WC is obviously going to be cheaper than Captives because of tempermant and possible mite/worm problems).
And anything for 500 is probably a Shingleback, Blotchie or Eastern because they are the rarest as pets, and if you can find them they are certain to be CB, much like Northerns.
northerns i have seen usually range about 150-200. i have a cbb indo, i just him hes a 3 week old baby and i payed 112 for him got him at a discount price, normally 145. But yeah i have never seen anything except shingle backs from more then 300.
Well like I said, there are morphs, (Sunset BTS, for example) which are going to cost a lot more than normal Northerns because they've been morphed so they have a different color)
And of course you'll pay that much for an indo if it is indeed cb. I see Shinglebacks all the time for more than 10 GRAND, (10000 dollars). Again, if you live in Australia, Easterns Blotchies and Shingles are gonna be less.
that guy ripped you off, well I guess he didn't but he made you think it was a good deal. that's a normal price

$500? whoa dude, that's cheap for a shingleback skink. A northern blue tongue usually costs around 100 or cheaper depending on the breeder.

He is Captive bred! Yes, he loves to be held. its kind of odd for a bearded dragon to hate being held!

And now that I think about it, pocket may live in Australia where the Blueys are much cheaper because she's where they thrive.
