HOS is just as good as HHN, and it's a lot cheaper. Talk about $25 for a Saturday night, and almost non-existant crowds last year. Waaaaaaaay better deal.
HHN is way better, they have a bigger budget. Plus you can get an all day pass to Islands of Adventure, then when that park closes , you can walk over to Universal and go to HHN all night. 2 for 1 pass.

They're going downhill, and it's sad. Howl O Scream used to be THE scariest attraction in Florida, and possibly the Southeast, but man it looked corny this past year. I actually went to Halloween Horror Nights, and was very impressed.

I'm 12 and I'm from michigan. I came down last week with my family for the first time to go to howl-o-scream and universal. and wow! what an experience. personally, i loved howl-o-scream MUCH better than Halloween horror nights. the houses, and scare zones are way better. i recomend howl-o-scream!

That one was silly fun. We laughed the whole time. Nothing scary about it. But the body parts mixed with machine parts was fun. Like a crazy Borg factory.

Ok is it just me or does everyone find that the "Raven Twins" are the dumbest characters ever. They're not even scary (especially when their costumes aren't secured all the way). I mean these people plan this for months and thats the best they could come up with? At least Bloody Mary is scary.

I just went last night (saturday) there were 0 lines at all of the houses. ^_^ it was a blast cuz I used to go every other year but was too chicken to go in the houses -- I'm glad I did this year!
I went in all the houses and scare zones last night... we watched 1 show, but we didnt have time for the others cuz we went in afterhours like 500 times. that was the best. we made a lot of friends lol.
I went to this one last night. I must say, having gone to HHN for the past 4 years, I enjoyed last night much more. We not only got a great deal on tickets, but for the first time ever, we were able to do all the houses, shows, and scare zones. Not to mention a few coasters to go along with it. HHN is pretty much a tourist trap in orlando. This was much more enjoyable and I didn't have to wait 2 hrs to go through a house. Check out the package online for thursdays. 4 or more, tix only $20
HHN is better, if you go on an off night, like a Thursday, i went, and was able to do all the houses, and rides, with time to spare. And universall put a lot more into it.
I am not doubting that HHN is better, but HOS is better for me. I live in Brandon so it is only a 10 min drive home. Universal should be better, they have a much bigger budget. I went last year on a thursday and it happened to be a thursday when there was no school the next day. We only got to do 2 houses the whole night. It sucked waiting 2 hours for 1 house.
but did you get an express pass? because i went the exact same day as you w/ one and got to see all the houses, all the rides, and two shows. hhn is better but you have to bring out the money.
like I said, HHN is most likely better, but, I am not willing to throw down that kinda money for it. First you pay to get in then you dish out even more just to make sure you get get your moneys worth. That and I am only 10 min from BG so it's kinda not too much of a choice for me. As long as I have fun, that's all that matters.
well the good thing about hhn is that it has a large budget but the problem with it is its to crowded and its not possible to see everything unlike hos you can most of the time.
thats y i'd rather go to hos and see them all plus the scare zones. anyway hos looks really really good this year. 2 new awesome houses plus a couple from last year that were awesome.

Ok is it just me or does everyone find that the "Raven Twins" are the dumbest characters ever. They're not even scary (especially when their costumes aren't secured all the way). I mean these people plan this for months and thats the best they could come up with? At least Bloody Mary is scary.

Yeah i agree! I love this place, and i think the houses will be awesome, but your right. The Twins arent that scary, and they spend a whole bunch of time planning and thats all they have.

I just went last night (saturday) there were 0 lines at all of the houses. ^_^ it was a blast cuz I used to go every other year but was too chicken to go in the houses -- I'm glad I did this year!

I went in all the houses and scare zones last night... we watched 1 show, but we didnt have time for the others cuz we went in afterhours like 500 times. that was the best. we made a lot of friends lol.

I went to this one last night. I must say, having gone to HHN for the past 4 years, I enjoyed last night much more. We not only got a great deal on tickets, but for the first time ever, we were able to do all the houses, shows, and scare zones. Not to mention a few coasters to go along with it. HHN is pretty much a tourist trap in orlando. This was much more enjoyable and I didn't have to wait 2 hrs to go through a house. Check out the package online for thursdays. 4 or more, tix only $20

HHN is better, if you go on an off night, like a Thursday, i went, and was able to do all the houses, and rides, with time to spare. And universall put a lot more into it.

I am not doubting that HHN is better, but HOS is better for me. I live in Brandon so it is only a 10 min drive home. Universal should be better, they have a much bigger budget. I went last year on a thursday and it happened to be a thursday when there was no school the next day. We only got to do 2 houses the whole night. It sucked waiting 2 hours for 1 house.

but did you get an express pass? because i went the exact same day as you w/ one and got to see all the houses, all the rides, and two shows. hhn is better but you have to bring out the money.

like I said, HHN is most likely better, but, I am not willing to throw down that kinda money for it. First you pay to get in then you dish out even more just to make sure you get get your moneys worth. That and I am only 10 min from BG so it's kinda not too much of a choice for me. As long as I have fun, that's all that matters.

well the good thing about hhn is that it has a large budget but the problem with it is its to crowded and its not possible to see everything unlike hos you can most of the time.
