no flap landing? nice..... also about a minute before the landing, after the altitude alert from the AP, it was giving you a warning about no gear down and too low of a power setting...what did you do?
@tabu99 We were practicing a simulated N-1 approach. At the beginning of the descent the pilot in command reduced the power lever on the remaining engine to reach Vref and then lowered the landing gear - that''s why you can hear the gear warning during gear extension.
The N-1 landing procedure recommends a "flap APP" setting but you can choose to land with flaps UP at 86 kt if the runway permits. It will also be safer in case of a go-around with one engine inoperative.
