You had to wear rubberbands like i did man it got real irritating everytime i took my rubberbands off every morning My mouth hurted like hell! so Now i have to wear a retainer every night,which is alright but sometimes i don't wear it (im to lazy to put it on!).

got them in 6th grade and now im in 8th, but i should be getting them off in a couple months.

i just got rubberbands 2.

oh and get this, i recently go them stuck to one of my fuzzy green pillows, and my frind got it on tape.

i had some problems that needed to be fixed so that it would not cause serious problems down the road. worst part is, that i had braces when i was 16. this is the second trip for me. wear your retainer when you get it !

I got my braces at age 37 or so... kept them on for three years .. so you should know you are not the only one. Just don't lose your retainer, because you'll feel like a foolish teenager when you get it replaced. I was in a public facing sales job frequently doing presentations at the time, and there was some concern that the braces would not look professional enough. How things have changed in 20 years. You'll be glad you did it.

Yes, I did carry an M1911A1 when I was in the service.

if your trying to decide.....dont get the ceramics. they are far more bulky (larger) tho not noticable...and a great deal sharper. WOW they are sharper. 

if you want a smooth experience....go all metal. that stuff might show more,...but boy its softer and easier on the mouth. just a thought.
