Spiders are normal, living creatures that are usually more afraid of us than we are of them. They might look fierce, but really, they're no different from any other insect; they have as many non-poisonous species as ants, caterpillars etc. They've just been exploited in movies like this because it's one of the most popular phobias people have. Don't let a movie like this make you think it's alright to kill them unless they pose a danger to you or someone else.

hi @GangstaFan100 i saw a documentary about this movie a few years ago, and if i recall correctly the species of spider used were quite docile so were unlikely to bite humans unless provoked, there are some aggressive species of spider such as brazilian wonderer and black widow where there nature is more aggressive than other spiders

Actually night is the best time for cats to hunt, which is basically their most natural instinct, which they shouldn't be deprived of (even though it's not very nice). And if you look after your cat properly you don't need to worry about it catching fleas outside. They are more than capable of spending the night outside (though i agree that in really bad weather they should be allowed in).
