  • the spoon nsx sounds soooo good

  • were is the v 10 nsx????????????

  • Shawn needs to be naked

  • @CoolishYeti fuck no homo

  • Only 5 are made in the world!!!

  • how bout time attack of all these NSX's ???? )))))

  • God I hate it when I don't use Firefox and have to watch stupid ads! IE sucks!!

  • Facking love the spoon NSX!!!! You go Ichishima! Much respec t :) Car looks and sounds amazing.

  • this thing rapes the new r35

  • @gpower88 I agree with you. It's a shame really for Honda to end the production of this car. It's such a good base that even for the Spoon car's case, with a relatively modest 420ps, it performs even better than the much praised R35 GT-R (and it's tuned and beefed up by Mine's) I think that just by simply bumping up the power of the NSX-R from 280 to somewhere between 350-400ps should have already kept it in the supercar performance levels. What a car !!!!

  • @Douglas6250 i dont know what honda is thinking of by end their "racecar" products line nsx and s2000! its sad! i hope they make something sporty in 2011

  • @gpower88 cuase of ricers.....who buys them

  • the spoon nsx sounds friggin awsome

  • wut a cool guy, Its very nice of him to learn english to speak. Much respect.

  • Anyone realise how the Spoon nsx sounds like a RB26 or 2JZ with the addition of the snail? Pretty sweet either way

  • the nsx is just a beast. it has so much potential when modded.

  • the green tuned Factor X NSX, kinda looks like the Veilslide RX-7 from Tokyo Drift?

  • nsx tunned is really beautiful

  • 市島さんのたどたどしい、英語がすごい新鮮。

  • sweet

  • Will this car be in GT5?? I Bloody Hope So!!!!!

  • Honda can be proud!

  • Willow's represent!

  • Much respect to Mr. Ichishima-san for speaking English as this is a difficult language to learn from an Asian perspective. He's really trying to better it.

The Spoon NSX-R GT is amazing. It's up there with Mine's GTR and RE Amemiya's top FD3S's.

  • no the spoon nsx is actually faster than the mines r35, ther is a video racing them. and although the r35 wins its because they switched drivers... the nsx put up the fastest lap time

  • I wasn't implying one better than the other, mate. There both top machines and by the sound of your response, I can tell you hate on GTR's. Do you own a Honda? I love the lot of 'em, but can't stand all of the favoritism in petrolheadland. If the car is tits, then praise it for its attributes and appreciate it for its faults.

  • The carbon snorkel air intake mid hatch and front aerodynamic spoiler and bigger side intakes came with the car and it was like $100.000 USD haha Spoon made theres rarer with a HKS turbine its on youtube gtchannel it versed the Mines R35

  • Hey, Great Video! We would love to have it on our site. Come check us out at C-A-R-C-O-M-M-U-N-I-T-I-E-S-d-o-t-C-O-M.

Make sure to sign up for an account and upload your video! See ya there ;)

  • These cars are so fucking badass!

  • actually there is a spoon turbocharged s2k.

  • oh herrro nsxr es uhh nsx type herrrro lol

  • is that the one in DSPORT MAG?the green one?

  • Yes

  • sweet spoon

  • If im not mistaken the NSX-R GT is the Rarest NSX ever! And i believe Spoon Sports owns 2 of them

  • now there were 5 originals right? But, at the Spoons the same as the original car, or are they modified standard NSX-R's with the snorkel scoop and other accessories?

  • yes they're only slightly retooled super expensive NSX's lol

  • this spoonnsx har turbo

  • you are right there were only 5 made i believe

and they were made so Honda could make changes to their JGTC NSX

  • love the sound of that v6 *DROOL*

  • Mr Ichishima NEVER turbocharged a S2000

The NSX-R is the first Spoon boosted VTEC power house. It is the most efficient way of adding power to the NSX, unless you have 3.5 SuperGT NSX motor in your garage.

  • Awesome video. The SPOON NSX-R GT has a beautiful tone.

  • spooned ! : )

  • Mane i just love the sound of that turbo! and i feel bad for Ichisima that is not able to speak the english right, i guess im gonna have to contact him and be his interpreter Lol!

  • It was the NSX in Pulp Fiction. BTW, nice interview. I really enjoyed it.

  • Was the GTR or Corvette in Pulp Fiction? Yeah..thought so.

  • NSX, superb exotic car.

  • The spoon nsx is very impresive.

  • nice engine sound, with the turbo sounds added!

  • Both Tyler McQuarrie and Billy Johnson were the drivers of the Spoon NSX-R GT and the FX Motorsports Development FX750 NSX (Previously: Factor X) in that video.

    Spoon: 1:25.X

    FXMD: 1:23.X

  • Spoon = finally goes Turbo

  • i'm just glad its a small turbo, just for a little boost...but yea, its a change

  • Spoon went turbo long time ago. Spoon S2000

  • @PeterLikesAsianGirl for the NSX yea.. it definatly needed it... other than that N/A rocks

  • lol tha van passed

  • even though Honda scrapped the NSX's blue prints, everyone knows, lots of tuners, racers, race car drivers likes the performance of NSX. it is expensive but if Honda know better how to play the pricing, they probably could still non-massively produce a new NSX based on old chassis without losing money and having it being everyones car because too cheap.

so like make it a supercar but buy-able. that'll be awesome!

  • I s that a "stuntman" driving the Spoon towards the end?

  • No that is the driver that drives the factor x nsx most of the time

  • Maybe ;)

  • why are you guys just NOW uploading this video? this has to be incredibly old considering Tyler is wearing Hancook colors and not Falken colors like he's supposed to.

  • Every honda/acura owner dream car NSX

  • i want to see which one will have more fans, the GTR or this coming NSX Type-R.. i'd go with the H-Symbol..

  • why is tyler mcquarrie wearing a hankook suit?

  • GREAT Piece Billy Johnson.... Well Done!

  • the spoon Honda NSX is a real balanced car....what more do u expect from spoon! and the Factor X NSX is a great track car....i can see why the NSX is becoming a popular race car....it can be tuned to suit all!!!

  • not the GT the Type R its coming 2010

  • uh no, its not. the NSX is done. it went out of production in 2005.

the NSX successor that you have been hearing about somewhat recently was thrown into the trash because of budget issues that Honda is having. also, it wasn't going to be called an NSX, but yet an NSX replacement.

you sir, need to stop talking like you know everything.

  • hey..i'm curious, who are you talking about?

  • i believe i hit reply on Tunerboy's comment.

  • i hope spoon makes turbos in general that would be nice

  • Like there own brand of turbo's or turbo kit's.

  • yea and knowing its from spoon its gonna be balanced so u would have a balanced turbo fwd honda or rwd for the s2k

  • they don't need to make there own turbo's, thats expensive, there are so many turbo's out there and size's that there is really no reason for them to make there own brand. they could rebrand them like HKS does (there just garrett turbo's) but really there's no point.

  • true well then id like to see em build an turbo ff car or turbo a s2k

  • FF Turbo cars are kind of useless on the track, you really can't put more then 250 HP down. more then that and you'll get massive amounts of understeer. The other thing is that Spoon is much more know'n for it N/A cars then it is for turbo's. the reason why they turbo the NSX, is to get that kind of power out of it with out a turbo cost $20,000+

  • oh don't get me started on an ff car with too much power lol ff hondas id say are better na

  • You are wrong

  • no not really I drove a turbo EK, with about 300 hp, and it would try to tear your arms off anytime you pressed the gas.

  • Nice sound of that cars!

    Salu2

  • I used to work at the worlds largest private auto auction and drove a few NSX's. Might not be the most powerful car i ever drove (Dodge Viper) or most elegant (Rolls Royce) but, its still my FAV car in the world. =]

  • I cant wait till the NSX Type-R comes to the states.

  • it wont happen to many rules in pleace sorry

  • Im not talking about the GT im talking about the Type-R in japan its coming to the US.The US Type R will get a horsepower boost over the JDM's 220 hp and limited-slip diff, along with similar suspension and appearance mods look for it in 2010

  • wait witch one is coming the nsx or the civic... i thought the nsx was going out of production soon, plus i really want a 4door type r

  • The NSX but it wont be cheap over a $100,000 price tag for the US

  • 100k? no more like 30-60k USED

with all of those mods (not counting labor/tax etc just parts)

minimum 5k. spoon is very expensive aftermarket tuners

  • i think the one that is "not going to be produced" is the newest one, the front engine rear wheel drive concept. and it is still a concept. if i'm not wrong.. but if the Spoon coming in US as a new car from dealership, life will be more fun!

  • so the na1/na2 chassis is still being produced, thats good to hear! the car has such a balanced handleing characteristic... just look at how much steering imput it takes when tsuychia(sorry if spelled wrong) drives his type r around a course

  • the NSX already went out of production. in 2005 to be exact.

  • is that supposed to happen?

  • Hot car.

  • soon NSX still not yet up to standard to chellenge the MUGEN NSX RR

  • where can I watch them race each......send the link man!!!

  • spoon owns mugen hands down

  • I think now is that finding that middle mark somewhere in between the Spoon and Factor X would be the NSX to have for everyday driving/track day terror to those so call "Ultimate driving machine" or those "No subsitute" cars

  • It's called the "FX500" :)

  • Its kinda hard to compare the 3 because The NSX-R GT is still based on the JDM NSX-R platform. The Factory X car and the Stock model were both based on the USDM Acura NSX-S models. They should have just had Spoon & Factory X talking about their respective cars to compare and contrast the two.

    Good video either way.

  • I wish I could see the NSX-R GT right now. Very well-balanced, made for track/street...awesome!!

  • too impresive for a pilot!!!

  • those are extremely nice cars

  • no idea what the first guy was saying !
