@NinetiesYouth The bass line is very simple, and only made up of single notes from what i can hear, and theyre played an octave below the middle harmony. Im sure its not too hard for him to play the bassline and middle harmony with just his left hand.

@darrouken me too in a way, but sonic 1 & 2 had more technically challenging tunes. Sonic 3 & Knuckles had more pop-ish tunes but at the same time extremely catchy. It may have had something to do with Michael Jackson's speculated involvement

Hacks, sort of. They were considered discarded zones.

I just needed an excuse to work the 2-player music in to the project in a way that wouldn't disrupt the continuity of the video; so I used the level structure that was in the sonic 2 long ROM.
