This version of "Vampire Killer," "Vampire Killer 2002 (VK2K2)," is a medley combining said song from Castlevania and "Clockwork" from Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse. Fitting, as Trevor looked and played similar to CV1's Simon.

In Boss Rush Mode, Maxim's sword attack (and shuriken) does 79 damage, Juste's whip attack does 97, and Simon's whip attack does 138.  A dagger (the weakest sub-weapon) from Juste does 48 damage, while a dagger from Simon does 69 damage.

Correct; Simon takes and deals more damage than Juste, but his mobility is limited to what he could do in the original game. At least in Despair he's about as mobile as everyone else.

And yes, Maria is awesome; nothing like seeing a loli and her cute animal friends tear a bloody swathe through the forces of darkness...

Simon may be slow and clunky, but he takes hits better, and his subweapons are really powerful. You can blaze through pretty much everything with Holy Water and Crosses.
