@ChangGang In fact it was through Takayoshi and Syu that I stumbled upon Hizaki and I stick to my comment. I haven't found a guitarist that has given me the chills I get when listening to some of Hizaki's work. Hizaki and Teru are just a dream.
Though if you were to compare Takayoshi it would probably be with Syu and personally I find Syu superior.
@ErnaiI Nah, if you know guitar, you'd know that Takayoshi's the better guitarist. Syu isn't as clean and his picking technique doesn't compare. Syu uses the wah too much. Ohmura's cleaner, faster, and the more skilled player. Just the truth.

@loung747 When place a long side Daniel Erlandsson Joey Jordison sucks. The reason he can still play drums while spinning is that he is doing simple beats. He could never do what Erlandsson does while doing it spinning thing.
technical it's good. But when compared to someone like Gus G, Chuck Schuldiner when he was alive and even Lanvall Lanvall from Edenbridge it loses a lot. Being tachnical is good but there is a lot more to playing the guitar then just being technical. I'm not saying it's bad I just don't get any feeling from this.

i think Hizaki doesn't show enough emotions while he's playing. i like these fast solos which sound a bit bit like classical music from the baroque.But i like Teru more because you can see that he enyos every single show

@bloodtastesyummyxD I understand what you mean, and in this particular video it's evident that Hizaki does come across as more reserved. However, in the video of Versailles live in 2010 or 2011 whilst playing the Revenant Choir the whole band does put a lot of emotion into the performance and it shows musically and on the band members themselves. I think Hizaki does put a lot of emotion into his work, that's evident from the music alone, but of course it varies depending on the performance.

the first song i heard from him/versailles was the revenant choir. And i thought, "WOW She is great for a girl!" then found out he was a guy :P and then thought it was safe to have a crush on him :P

@ChangGang In fact it was through Takayoshi and Syu that I stumbled upon Hizaki and I stick to my comment. I haven't found a guitarist that has given me the chills I get when listening to some of Hizaki's work. Hizaki and Teru are just a dream.
Though if you were to compare Takayoshi it would probably be with Syu and personally I find Syu superior.

@ErnaiI Nah, if you know guitar, you'd know that Takayoshi's the better guitarist. Syu isn't as clean and his picking technique doesn't compare. Syu uses the wah too much. Ohmura's cleaner, faster, and the more skilled player. Just the truth.

@loung747 When place a long side Daniel Erlandsson Joey Jordison sucks. The reason he can still play drums while spinning is that he is doing simple beats. He could never do what Erlandsson does while doing it spinning thing.

technical it's good. But when compared to someone like Gus G, Chuck Schuldiner when he was alive and even Lanvall Lanvall from Edenbridge it loses a lot. Being tachnical is good but there is a lot more to playing the guitar then just being technical. I'm not saying it's bad I just don't get any feeling from this.

@bloodtastesyummyxD I have nothing against Hizaki either. It's just from all the other guitar players I have heard and would compare him to I'm not really that much into his style. Guys like Gus G or Lanvall I enjoy. So nothing against Hizaki or any of his fans.

i think Hizaki doesn't show enough emotions while he's playing. i like these fast solos which sound a bit bit like classical music from the baroque.But i like Teru more because you can see that he enyos every single show

After listening through the discography of both Versailles and Hizaki Grace Project I know for sure that if there's anything they do not lack, it's emotion.

could smile like it comes from his heart while he's playing. Do you know Kai (drummer of GazettE) ?
When i'm watching him playing it makes me happy because you know that he loves playing drums more than everything else .

@bloodtastesyummyxD I understand what you mean, and in this particular video it's evident that Hizaki does come across as more reserved. However, in the video of Versailles live in 2010 or 2011 whilst playing the Revenant Choir the whole band does put a lot of emotion into the performance and it shows musically and on the band members themselves. I think Hizaki does put a lot of emotion into his work, that's evident from the music alone, but of course it varies depending on the performance.
