We have used "free" health services (for low income folk). And it sucks here! :(

@acoupleofTruthers Were I live we have walk in doctors, even if you not registered there you can see a doctor, straight away, if it urgent just go to A&E. If I book an appointment with my own doctor usually get an appointment with in 3 days. My surgery very good been registered there since birth 37 years. never had any issues. also If i refuse medication cos, I veggie and prefer herbal my doctor will still treat me. and find herbal if available..Our National Insurance is a very good scheme.

I can tell u are awake I feel for people like yourself still living in USA..I have a few amercian friends, but find most amercians Ignorant, insular selfish brainwashed people.. @acoupleofTruthers some people will complain about it, but really cos they either had bad experience or to selfish to realise we have a very good system. we are 17th in the world, usa is 37th, also our education is free we higher than usa on that.. I get free dential to but use non fluoride toothpaste so my teeth dont need attention, not been to denitist in 10 years.. As for putting more in than out. Goverment pays, everyone gets treated no matter what..

you then pay tax, from your earnings, after deductions on....... Fuel, clothes, some food items, services, technology products like tv's dvd's and pc's.... and the disks yes.......what else.... oh yeah everything.......all in all, i think you'll find more than half your money gets eaten in taxes of one form or another, lets not forget the dredded council tax too.......

At least we get housing benefit, council tax benefit, no vat on fresh foods and childrens clothes, child benefit, family tax creadits, free education, dentail, health care, usa Pay tax no unemployment benefit or health care. They are so brainwashed that our NHS is a socialist scheme that wants to kill us off. too funny

americans are about to get a similar eugenics solution as we have.. obumacare is a nazi (national socialist) policy.. its not gonna be pleasant for them. their old system wasnt great but instead od leaving you to die now they will actively kill/ shorten lives ect. they also will get death panels like we have here. healthcare may be a moot subject once the derivatives market collapses.

Izzy our income tax is taken out weekly if you are paid weekly, monthly if you are paid monthly and so on. At the end of the year we file a income tax return; if we pay more than our "share" we get a refund of what we overpaid. We get a tax bill if we havent paid enough. The elderly and disabled are helped but not at 100%. The Democrats have passed Health Care Reform and will phase it in over 3 to 4 years. Everyone will be required to have health insurance. Well see how it works.

Try the North West. I've been trying to find a place at an NHS Dentist for 19 years. I live in a town of 400,000 with no A&E department. You obviously live in the south!
