I wasted so much money on creams & oils and nothing worked because stretch marks are like scars- tissue is dead. The only way to get rid of them is to mechanically abrade them. This is expensive at dermatologist's office but you can do it cheaply at home using medical crystals. All my stretch marks are gone and I feel normal again. Just google search medicalcrystals.
well, i have white stretch marks but they have lighten compared to how they were before. i have some behind my knees on bothe legs, and plenty by the hips and buttocks that's why i cant ever wear string bikinis. a few years ago after every shower i apply milk. fresh milk. it took some time but it was cheap and very helpful. not only did it reduce my stretch marks but it also completely got rid of some scars/ black spots and even out my skin. i still have light stretch marks though.
Glycolic acid (or hydroxyacetic acid) is the smallest α-hydroxy acid (AHA). This colorless, odorless, and hygroscopic crystalline solid is highly soluble in water. It is used in various skin-care products. Glycolic acid is found in some sugar-crops.
i have this new mixutere of oils im trying that might work for ya'll. all u can do is try
100 % Shea butter mixed in an empty bottle with 100% Virging olive oil. Put it on strechmarks after showering as many times as posible during the day for 3 to 6 months!!
Aw! I do too, I hate them. Mine are bright red... I'm a thin teenager and I can't even wear shorts this summer! I don't know why I had to get stretch marks. :'(
I'm sorry to hear that you have them too... :-( It's so unfair! I've been trying some coco butter infused lotion for about a month, but I haven't seen any change. I'm going to try a more oily form of coco butter...
The best thing for stretch marks is unrefined coconut oil and jojoba oil. Not only does it minimize them if you use it consistently it provents them from forming. Good for c-section scars and fading dark areas. Also, it's all natural. But to reduce the occurrence of stretch marks try not to gain a lot of weight in a short period of time, drink water often and do muscle-toning exercises while using free weights.
@ShanniieOx me too, except for my knees, I have them on my stomach, sides, on my lower back, upper arms, under armpit even 2 small stretch marks on the crest of my arm on both arms :(, I never had this before, and now i cannot wear short sleeves because of these small stretch marks that show on the crest of my arm, why GOD?
this lady is an idiot. stretch marks are caused by hormones not "stretching" the skin from fat, muscle gain, or pregnancy. hormonal changes in the body cause stretch marks
@swlrocks she basically answerd it though dude she said they only have something to minumize the strechmarks so basically no they dont go away but u can make them smaller.
Haha. I had stretch marks on my behind from gaining too much weight during puberty, but ever since I began working out and losing the weight they are hardly visible.
i've always thought that trying to lose the gained weight make sthe stretch marks appear more...thanks for the advice ..... and if u dont mind....can u plz send me ur work out plan....coz i kinda gained a few pounds over christmas ....and i'm tryin to shed it off!!!!
i have on my hips,stomach,biceps,back,legs =(
