  • They surely taste good, who can say this can taste like shit. But... you know, scrambled eggs are often used when you've got not so much time, or for cooking breakfast. So... if you treat this recipe this way, you'll get a unique dish and have to eat anything else. I prefer to make this dish lighter, without so much butter, no meat or caviar but use of herbs is interesting.

  • This is very interesting. I am a little surprised at the amount of butter used. I hear other chefs don't season the eggs when you beat them. I've also never heard of using fresh cream. But this looks good. Fluffy and not over cooked.

    The worst thing to do, which is what everyone everywhere seems to do is overcook scramble eggs. I hate that. Fluffy eggs that melt in your mouth is best!

  • I'm in french culinary school, and I'm pretty used to seeing a s*** ton of butter. Personally i would have used about 3/4 the amount for 2 servings (15-20 g/serving), but that depends on how rich you want it. In terms of his technique thats pretty traditional and proper. So, for those bashing him... maybe you should try experimenting before being a critic.

    And so far this is the best way I've seen on youTube (although the double boiler method is also good).

    He used the right amount of butter. You're just conditioned to think butter should be used sparingly... which is, generally speaking, completely wrong.
