I agree, but this is a remix. slower than the original and lacks a certain umph to it. At least, this is my opinion.

Raids and such are scripted. Eve doesn't have that. It being a sandbox it is whatever you make it

This isn't the best soundtrack; it's #3. :)

#1 is Stellar Shadows (the original version anyway - watch?v=0g21O8LMTD0 - don't know if it's still in game)

i believe there is also an OPTION that will turn on contiguous music(nonstop) but i may be mixing up with starcraft 2

@Jouwl when you do a mission and activate an acceleration gate a song that is not on the eve soundtrack in your in game jukebox will start to play. when watching this vid if you look to the right on the suggestions bar there is a vid named merc soundtrack, that is one of the songs that will play during a mission, there are others too like the caldari rock, which is one of my favorite.

@Jouwl Mining Belts, Mission Area (Also certain missions unlock certain soundtracks i think) Wormhole space, etc' Every Entity site unlocks a certain (number?) of soundtracks while your in that area.

Yes if you go into a mission area some PVE music will be triggered.

You also can simply click on the jukebox and select the music yourself or select all the good songs and put them in 1 playlist. You can also import your own music in EVE it says but I never tried it...

@Jouwl Yes that is indeed how it works. Also, there are normally multiple choices of songs that play, so you won't always get the same thing for repeatedly doing the same thing (such as mission whoring or gate jumping)

there is a music browser so you can find and rewind/pause, etc music in game, or turn it off so you have only ambient sounds or play your own music via a third party player.

Eve Online doesn't have a music that follows you while you play like the other mmo out there. Actually you have a "jukebox" app and you play the game while listening to the music OR just turn it off and you'll only listen to the enviromental sounds (explosions, warp sound, etc...).

Ive had same problem getting to hear a track i love, as ive only heard it once and wasnt in jukebox.

I'd say this is the best one as well.

It's too bad they never put the opening title tracks into the jukebox later. The Empyrean Age, and the Apocrypha, are both awesome titles.

They need to change the jukebox so you can turn tracks off that you don't like.

There's some great tracks in there, but I hardly listen to them on account of not being able to control what I hear.

Your very correct I wish they did. I found a link in google thats directly from EVE forums that gives you 98 songs from the soundtrack (99 but one is a error) (also two songs are not from the in-game, one is a white raven remix, and the other is od RealX playing live, both are great) I found it threw google while trying to look for a cinematic song. Hehe I love it and its great quality, try looking for it maybe.
