  • @oukami are you retarded? 70hp from bolt ons on an Sr? Your high. Intake is like 5hp exhaust is like 15hp if that 70hp would be like came and shit. You have no idea what your talking about

  • man start off from 20mph then go.

  • did you find the problem with the car

    why shut down after 4th?

  • Who won?

  • Takes time. But if if you really love your cars or any cars then why buy something already fast? Built not bought is always the best quote to say when I see Subi's and Evo's u never worked on your car just leave it like it is and think you know something about a vehicle lmao. I rather look clean in a $3k car lol

  • 564 in Norfolk VA?

  • All that work and you leave the governor?

  • @smokeythatokey seriously tho.... my 240sx used to die at 117mph, ganked that shit out the same day i hit 117mph.

  • suba is spraying they take a long time to get through the gears.... and the b18 is better than the h 22 be cause of the availability for parts and more... but with time and money the rare h22 will murder any b all day... thats why its the honda 4 cylinder BIG BLOCK

  • @boostedh22a1 agreed, but it will take alot of time nd tuning

  • suba is spraying

  • back reel take off at last.

  • I love all these videos of cars that had 5-10k put into the motor, vs an STI with a tune >.< Gets me every time

  • @pocketfiend36

true, but when they just paid $3-4k for those cars being stock, it's a good deal no? and i own a subaru, not an sti cuz i can't afford it yet, i hate the fac that some of those hondas can go faster than me, but in the good side, i got a better car...

  • @pocketfiend36 Those numbers a little high bud. Ive got a 00 Sentra with a sr20de full bolted, built head, piggy back and tune and I dont have but maybe 4k max into the engine

  • @pocketfiend36

ya, people dont use a stock evo/sti as a benchmark for nothing.

  • what the fuck did that honda have? it actually kept up with an sti?...

  • lol go home honda fanboys...

  • gotta love that nissan speed cut.....lol

  • much love to the sti and the s13 cause i have both lol... civic is a peace of junk that was only put on the road to be smoked by s13's

  • bye bye honda.

  • FR vs FF vs AWD.. lol

  • it could be an s13... hard to tell but it has rain gards on the windows. the dashboard vent looks right. I know the S13's are governed in 5th at 115 mph.. but 4th will do 125 mph. get rid of the governor.

  • @rippdogg13

if he can pull like that then its already gone

  • reason why it shuts down is you need an upgraded fuel pump. walbro fuel pump would be good.

  • What about a megan racing fuel pump?

  • that 240sx would had it all the way if it did not shut down on 4th gear...you see that honda it was trying to win any ways hondas just suck period the should get out of the tuner scene

  • oh really?...why dont you explane to all of us here what hp figures those "fast nissans" would make if the werent turbocharged?i mean to slap on a turbo is easy..but n/a is the way

  • true its like they dont get it. I guess nissan guys NEED a turbo to talk smack, while a K20 powered civic could run 11's N/A with only a short list of parts......

  • @outtadebackyard Not a problem. Have you ever heard of the Autech Version of the S15? They aren't turbo charged but still put out a nice wallop. Nissan is just all about turbo. that's all. More efficient engine. That's all. I respect both Honda and Nissan but I perfer Nissans after living a third of my life in Japan. :) Po Tay To, Po Ta To.

  • @panoulis20 Thats like saying: How fast would the honda be without VTEC, or DOHCs, or EFI. Honda's are not turbo because the inherent shortfallings of fwds become unbearable when your motor has turbocharged levels of torque.

  • yea like there arent any stock turbocharged fwd productions cars, thats not why hondas arent turbocharged, the reason is reliability and the disadvantages they have, how ever me being a realistic person and having driven manyyy different cars ill tell you one thing,,civics arents the "Beasts of the streets" but they have a very efficient system giving them high volumetric efficiency and due to they lightness and reliability you can feel a very respectable pull, and see nice numbers

  • @panoulis20 dude you can just get your head port and polish for HIGH volumetric efficiency so yeah another strike towards honda's (well in your case)

  • @McOrca09 emm what?when you port and polish you mess with the cfm of the head, its not giving you extra hp numbers unless you much you combine it to regriding the camshafts to better specs and increacing your compression ratio if you want to have power at the lower rpm band, anyways i was talking about stock hp output numbers, i dont know where your comment fit in to what i said

  • @panoulis20 The N/A SR20DE has been known to put out 200whp with just bolt ons, the SR20VE puts out 200chp from the factory, with bolt ons it'd make a great deal more. By the way, it's not all about hp numbers either, but torque too. These engines will put out a good 50-60 ft. lbs more torque than Honda engines too. Honda isn't special buddy.

  • @0ukami from wikipedia "The 2.0 L SR20VE has Nissan's Neo VVL variable valve timing with lift control. It produces 190 PS (139 kW) @7000 and 144 ft·lbf (196 Nm) @6000 rpm and later (2001-2003) 205 PS (150 kW) @7200 rpm and 206 nm @5200 rpm"

    VS

    "

    k20a

    1,998 cc (1.998 L; 121.9 cu in), 225 PS (165 kW; 222 hp) @8000, 215 N·m (159 lb·ft) @6100:

    and jdm f20c

    Power: JDM 250 PS (183.88 kW) @ 8,300rpm & 22.2kgm (217.71 Nm) @ 7,500 rpm ,,thats 45ps and 10nm more, i dont see where u got ure number but

  • @0ukami it appears that honda is something special,,if thats the best output nissan has to an n/a stock engine they better stick with turbocharging them and high boost psi number if they ever want to go faster,,honda does rule in n/a engines, its a fact,

  • @panoulis20 You're comparing a 20 year old engine with the newest Honda has to offer. The SR engines make a lot more via boltons than K and F series engines do anyways, since they have better flowing heads. The normal SR can make over 70hp with just boltons, so just think about what the VE would do. Not only that, it wasn't designed to be an NA engine either, where Honda engines are. If you compare it with a _competing_ engine of the time, the B18C, it outperformed every Honda on the market.

  • @0ukami *cough* h22 type s and h23 vtec *cough* ;p

  • @italianboi1390 *cough* rb26dett and vg30dett *cough*

  • @xxMICxASSASSINxx uhmm ok, those are nice motors (i know first hand my boys got a r32 with the rb26) but i was talking about what 0ukami said about the b18c being the best of the honda world when it came out. thats not true, yes the type r integra was quick but it was only because it was light and had a good tranny, not because the motor had massive power or something. the h series motors easily destory a type r if put into an integra stock for stock especially if you h2b it.

  • @italianboi1390 who ever just marked that as spam is a straight up homo fanboy, get over it.

  • @italianboi1390 i dont wanna hear no type r fan boy shit either, its just common sense, 2.2l>1.8l. h22 has frm, aib, most aggressive stock camshafts, bigger displacement etc etc. only downfall is the b series tranny's are better set up for racing imo oh and if anyone wants to start the "h22 weighs sooo much" bs it only weighs about 35 more pounds than a b series, look it up on google. h series ftw.

  • i know a s13 when i see one... the camera car is definatly not an s13.

  • yeah thats not a s13

  • Good race between the 3. I was most impressed by that Civic though.

  • considering its not an 2.5L sti, its only 2.0L wrx coz sti's dont have fog lamps under the sti covers and the rear guards have an add on to make them look wider. sti's have better internals bigger injectors, turbo and intercooler and would of won

  • haha funny dat civic was keeping up with the STI shit is funny!!!!!!

  • Maybe closing the car window may help..

  • HAHAHAHonda as always is slow gay fwd lol

  • s13 was the camera car right

  • There's an exact same video as this one but in the other one they say it's a civic hatchback instead of an s13

  • thats because it is a civic its two boosted civics

  • front wheel drive four wheel drive and rear wheel drive haha. i really like 240's but i think 4wd will win in the straights cause of grip. is that the sr20det? how many horeses?

  • in a short race the subie would win because of 4WD ; but in a long race that 4WD would bite you in the ass .RWD ftw

  • it's not 4WD, it's AWD. There is a difference

  • @A2NeuspeedGTi what's the difference?

    nice race

  • Comment removed

  • @nnholland 4WD (ex. Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz 4-Matic) has a center diff that splits the torque 50/50 between the front and rear drive wheels. This system also has a low-range setting, whereas AWD (ex. Subaru's Symmetrical AWD, Audi's Quattro, VW's 4-Motion, etc...)is the same, but does not have a low-range setting.

  • if the 240SX did not shut down on fourth gear it would have it.

  • is that s13 ka-t???

  • impressive civic, staying with the sti in the first race

  • That suby is SWEET. whats the mods on it?

  • Its easy to check if its fuel cut, just go fast in 5th gear. JDM cars have fuel cut at 180-190 km/h. If it only happens at hard accellerations, i would make sure an uprated fuelpump is installed. If you want some advice to cure this, then list your enginespecs, I'm sure someone can help you.

  • dude watsup with fourth you almost had that STi?

  • nice come back

  • shit man looks like u were about to take them

  • yeah wat happnd during fourth?

  • What happened after fourth? Fuel Cut?
