  • During the Cultural Revolution the Chinese government systematically attacked and tried to eradicate the cornerstones of Tibetan culture - language, monastic life, Buddhism and social structure. Hundreds of thousands of Monks, Nuns and civilians were imprisoned or killed for wearing traditional hairstyles and clothing, engaging in traditional song or dance, or voicing their religious beliefs

  • man, that needs a lot of money to pay each guy 300 bucks, what a job!

  • Really?

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has failed and is a joke because it supports genocides just like the chinese communist party.

  • realsurfer64

    China supports terrorism.

Evidence point out that Chinese regime staged the violence protest in Lhasa in order to discredit the peaceful protests of Buddhist Monks Evidence also point out that China not only supported Osama Bin Laden, Taliban and Sudan's military regime but also provided military training to Taliban militia before and after September 11 . China is also said to have help Sudanese regime plan the genocide that massacred about 400,000 people in Darfur.

  • you are such a liar, do u know how much money chinese hv spent in Tibet in the past 58 years to improve the living standards of ordinary Tibetan.

It's just not true that Chinese are trying to destroy Tibet.

u know nothing about Tibetan or Chinese history. You have no evidence saying China supports Terrorism

    You are Liar!!!!!

George W Bush is the Biggest terrorist in the whole world!!!!!

  • If Tibet is costing the chinese communist party money please leave Tibet today.

The communist party has not been welcome in Tibet for 60 years. Do you know anything about human rights in Tibet?

  • make me laught.

YES rusian or chinese gvt are gangsters

but tell me about the US gvt now ! as you wrote, chinese gvt bloggers talk a lot....

    united states gvt kill.

the best way to "restore peace" (you remember?) all over the world is to send us soldiers & cocacola cans home.

  • If you love Putin, so much, Surrey, why dont you emigrate to Russia or another dictatorship. Then you can find out what oppression really is instead of wacking off all day in the soft West. I think its high time plenty of Westerners were sent abroad so they can beg to come home and stop admiring gangsters like Putin and the Chinese.

The Chinese govt bloggers better shut their traps about dominating the planet, or they're going to find themselves playing alone in their polluted sandbox.

  • Prayer works! Let's all pray daily for an independent and free sovereign Tibet...free from the iron shackles of Red China whose dragon leaders just love to execute those that disagree with them and harvest their victims' organs for filty lucre on the world market...Free Tibet TODAY....

  • if putin was the chinese president, these bastards would be squashed!

  • His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama

These protests are a manifestation of the deep-rooted resentment of the Tibetan people under the present governance.

As I have always said, unity and stability under brute force is at best a temporary solution. It is unrealistic to expect unity and stability under such a rule and would therefore not be conducive to finding a peaceful and lasting solution.

  • Boycott the 2008 Chinese Olympics

  • roc999: how can u be so surely say that, "Nothing is going to change"? Tibet will be Free and we will never give up! UNO wake up!

  • Guys, let's be honest. US does not care about Tibetans. It is just an convenient diplomatic bargaining chip. Why people are so easily fooled and serious about it. Nothing is going to change.

  • hi you are right because us is afraid of china, but because of some eue countries, china feels shame

  • Nothing is permanent and everything changes. The Tibetan budhhist dhamma tells us.

  • Tibet massacre -- more than 500 killed, 10,000 injured -- a massive violation of human rights by China Mar. 15, 2008
