I for one cannot wait for this movie, especially after just almost completing the entire The X Files dvd collection. (with only two disks to go) Niki thanks for the song too, LC are one of my fave bands. only problem is You Can't handle the Truth had nothing to so with X files. it's actually from A Few Good Men. Trust No1 would have been better suited at the end.

You might work at a Theater, but you don't have shit all to do with the movie, and you do not get to see it earlier unless your the manager of the estate as they do a private test run of it.

actually i have a lot to do with filmwork... it's my job. we have to preview every movie before we let customers see them. i watched pirates of the carribean at worlds end 2 days before it came out. you really want proof? i'll make a slide show of all of my pictures of me at work.

As a former projectionist for 2 different major theater companies, you MUST preview every film before the release date to make sure the film wasn't sent defective or put together wrong. You do "Build" movies. They come in about 6 to 8 different reels and you have to put them all together on what is called a "Build Table" to make them one gigantic 80 pound reel so you can run more than 4 screens by yourself without worrying about a change over. You then break it all down again and send it back.

are they really 80 lbs? i carry them all the time but i didn't think they were heavier than soda bibs. it does take at least 2 people to carry them. a guy i used to work with dropped fun with dick and jane. that sucked. he completely destroyed it. and my boss dropped the green mile back in the day and it took her 8 hours to put back together.

Yeah, usually about 6-10 lbs per reel. A friend of mine dropped a film just yesterday, it unraveled all over the floor and it took her more than 8 hours to wind it back up! She didn't feel that bad though, the projectionist position at that theatre is disappearing this year because they're going all digital... which I think would make it easier to pirate. AT HIGHER QUALITY!!!

It is important to some of us because we enjoyed the series.(not on level of aids prevention) It's okay if its not to you. I wish people would try to be more respectful of each others opinions. I think one of the reasons Barack Obama is doing well is that people are tired of crass, ill mannered behaviour. Lets try to be civil. I realize that people hide behind the internet and say things that they wouldn't in every day life. What a pity that social discoures has deteriorated to such an extent.
