@hihihi646: It depends on how big of a gap you want to jump. This ramp would be good for a gap of 4' to 8' long. Anything bigger and you'll want a larger ramp.

@dimzaiboom365: There isn't really a difference. The term kicker or 'launch ramp' is generally used as a differentiator to help distinguish between regular ramps (boat ramps, wheelchair ramps, etc.)

@bumbumfan distance and height are something you control with your preload and how you shape your jump. some jumps are better for distance and some for air but generally speaking its the rider who determines how for or high. you trade height for distance or vice versa.

This ramp is meant to make you go high. It is also meant to have a landing ramp. it is called a kicker because it kicks you up (really high). If its distance you're looking for, you want a launch ramp.

@krazycid10 man all these people on here are stupid. your momentum carries u forwards off the ramp. i build one even steeper than this and it still sends u FAR. and theres dirt jumps near me that are almost vertical and still send u to a landing about 15 feet away. they need to get a brain and actually think about these things before leaving lame ass comments
